LONDON BOROUGH OF SUTTON

1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Sutton on 19 February 2018 made the following Order detailed below under section, 84 and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to, the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended.



2. The General effect of The Sutton (Speed Limit) (20mph) (Anne Boleyn's Walk Area) (No. 2) Order 2018 will be to introduce a 20mph speed limit in the following roads: Anne Boleyn's Walk, Jubilee Road, Kingsway Road and Queens Acre.



3. A copy of the Order, which will come into operation on 23 February 2018 containing the Council's Statement of Reasons for making the Order and plan may be inspected at the Council's Environment, Housing and Regeneration Offices at 24 Denmark Road, Carshalton between 9am - 5pm Monday to Friday.



Note the proposal advertised on 23 November 2017 to introduce a 20mph zone in the Church Hill Road Area [Reference SL1048] is subject to further consideration.

4. If any person wishes to question the validity of this Order or of any of its provisions on the grounds that they are not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, or that any requirement of the said Act of 1984 or of any instrument made under the said Act of 1984 has not been complied with, that person may, within 6 weeks from the date on which the Order was made, apply for the purpose to the High Court.

LONDON BOROUGH OF SUTTON ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14(1) TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF WALLINGTON SQUARE FOOTPATH (PROW No. 109)

1. The Council of the London Borough of Sutton hereby gives notice that in order to facilitate the erection of steel columns and installation of a canopy and because of the likelihood of danger to the public it intends to make an Order the effect of which will be to temporarily close the public right of way No. 109 running between Woodcote Road and Clarendon Road.



2. The closure of that path will come into effect on Monday 19 March 2018 with works taking place Monday to Sunday between 6.00pm and 11.00pm and are expected to take 4 weeks to complete. However, the Order will remain in force for

LONDON BOROUGH OF SUTTON ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14(1) DOWNSIDE ROAD, HARROW ROAD, HILL ROAD AND WAVERLEY WAY.

1. The Council of the London Borough of Sutton hereby gives notice that in order to facilitate electrical cable works and because works are being executed on or near the roads it intends to make an Order the effect of which is summarised in paragraph 3 below.



2. The Order will come into effect on Tuesday 20 March 2018, with works taking place Monday to Friday 7.30am to 6.00pm, Saturday 9.00am to 5.00pm and Sunday 10.00am to 1.00pm and are expected to take 2 weeks to complete. However the Order will remain in force for 6 months to be re-introduced should further works be required.



3. When the works are taking place and the appropriate traffic signs are displayed the Order will temporarily close the following roads at their junction with Banstead Road, Carshalton:-



? Downside Road;



? Harrow Road;



? Hill Road and



? Waverley Way



Please note that not all of the prohibitions will be in force at the same time.

4. An alternative route for vehicular traffic when the road closures are in force will be for:-



? Downside Road; via Banstead Road, Prior Avenue, Farm Road, Upland Road and vice versa;



? Harrow Road, via Banstead Road, Park Hill, Wales Avenue and vice versa;



? Hill Road, via Banstead Road, Park Hill and vice versa; and



? Waverley Way; via Banstead Road, Barrow Hedges Way, Beeches Avenue and vice versa.



5. The prohibitions specified above apply only during such times and to such extent as indicated by traffic signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.



LONDON BOROUGH OF SUTTON ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14(1)

1. The Council of the London Borough of Sutton hereby gives notice that in order to facilitate electrical cabling works and because works are being executed on or near the roads



it made an Order the effect of which is summarised in paragraph 3 below.

2. The Order will come into effect on Thursday 1 March 2018, with works expected to take 6 months to complete. However the Order will remain in force for 10 months to be re-introduced should further works be required.



3. When the works are taking place and the appropriate traffic signs are displayed the Order will temporarily:-



? close Grosvenor Avenue at its junction with Park Lane; and



? introduce waiting restrictions - 'no waiting at any time' and loading restrictions - 'no loading at any time' (including suspension of parking bays) in:-



? Beeches Avenue between its junction with Gordon Road and Waverley Way;



? Cedar Road outside and opposite Cedar Court to No. 67;



? Gordon Road outside and opposite No's 39 to 65;



? Langley Park Road between its junction with Wellesley Road and Cedar Road; and



? Waverley Way between its junction with Banstead Road and No 7.



Please note that not all of the suspensions will take place at the same time.

4. An alternative route for vehicular traffic whilst the closure for Grosvenor Avenue is in force will be via Park Lane, Carshalton Woodstock Road, Ashcombe Road, Park Avenue, Grosvenor Avenue and vice versa.



5. Any vehicle that is in contravention of the temporary waiting & loading restrictions at a time when these restrictions apply will be removed to an alternative location in accordance with the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.



6. The prohibitions specified above apply only during such times and to such extent as indicated by traffic signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.
