(FRAMWELLGATE MOOR, PITY ME, NEWTON HALL AND BRASSIDE) (TRAFFIC MANAGEMENT) ORDER 2011 (AMENDMENT NO. 1) ORDER 2017

(FRAMWELLGATE MOOR, PITY ME, NEWTON HALL AND BRASSIDE) (TRAFFIC MANAGEMENT) ORDER 2011 (AMENDMENT NO. 1) ORDER 2017
The Council on 15/02/18 made an Order under Sections 1, 2,4, 32 & 35 &PtIV ofSch. 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended "RTRA", the effect of which replaces a 15 mtr length of Permit Holder Only Parking on Dunholme Close by extending the existing No Waiting/ No Loading At Any Time across the junction into Durham Trinity School). Full details are contained in the sealed Order which comes into operation on 05/03/18 and may be inspected at Newton Hall library & County Hall, Durham Mon-Fri 9am to 4pm during normal opening hours and via the council website. Any person wishing to question the validity of the Order or of any provision therein on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the "RTRA", or that any requirement of that Act or of any regulation made under it has not been complied with in relationto the Ordermay, within sixweeks from15/02/18 applyto makean applicationforthat purpose to the High Court.
(FOOTPATH NO 123 OFF FLASSBURN ROAD, DURHAM) (TEMPORARY FOOTPATH CLOSURE) ORDER 2018
The Council on 08/02/18 made an Order under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984, as amended, to close to all pedestrian traffic an 80 mtr length of Footpath No. 123 that extends south westerly from Flassburn Road to Flass Vale, Durham by reason of major sewer improvement works to be undertaken. The maximum duration of the temporary closure under the Order is 6 months and is required from 19/02/18 for the full duration. Alternative route from the north eastern side of the closure from Flassburn Road, south easterly along Springwell Avenue and south westerly along Larches Road onto Footpath No 121 leading to the south western side of the closure, and vice versa.
(B1283 FRONT STREET & C12A HOPE STREET & HALLGARTH STREET, SHERBURN) (TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2018
The Council proposes in not less than 7 days from the date of this notice to make an Order under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984, as amended, to close to all vehicular traffic: (1) a 30 mtr length of Hallgarth St. that extends northwards from its junction with the Front St. r/bout, and a 25 mtr length of Hope St. that extends southwards from its junction with Front St. r/bout; and (2) a 205 mtr length of Front St. between its access to the car park of the Coop and the junction to Kidd Ave. by reason of carriageway resurfacing works to be undertaken. The maximumduration ofthe temporaryclosure under the Order is 18months and is required from 03/03/18 and for the duration of the works anticipated to be two weekends. Alternative route: from Front St. r/bout via B1283 Front St.: (a) Phase 1 - westerly to the junction with A181 then south easterly through Sherburn House and continuing on A181 to Byers Garth r/bout at the junction with C12a leading northwards to the southern side of the closure and vice versa; (b) Phases 1 & 2 - easterly to the Sherburn Hill Crossroads then northerly on C60 through Littletown and HighPittingtonand continuing onC13 through Low Pittingtonto the junctionwith C12a Lady's Piece Lane leading southwards to the northern side of the closure, vice versa.
(OWENGATE, DURHAM CITY) (TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2017
The Council, on 13/07/17 made an Order under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984, as amended, to close to all traffic (except resident access) a 70m length of Owengate between its junctions with Saddler Street/North Bailey and Palace Green, Durham to enable highway refurbishment works to be undertaken. Themaximumduration ofthe temporary closure under the Order is 18 months and is required Phase 1) 26/02/18 - 23/03/18 (8:30am- 4:30pm); and Phase 2) 01/07/18 - 23/08/18 (Sun - Thurs 6pm - 6am). Alternative route: pedestrian traffic - via North Bailey and Dun Cow Lane to Palace Green, and vice versa. There is no alternative route for vehicular traffic.
However, on rare occasions, alternative dates for the above 3 closures may be necessary and these will be signed accordingly.
