CROYDON COUNCIL ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984, SECTION 14, AS AMENDED
VARIOUS STREETS IN BROAD GREEN - TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC
1. Croydon Council, HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that to facilitate gas mains replacement works in Croydon, they have made an Order the effect of which will be to:

(a) temporarily close to vehicular traffic those streets or lengths of streets specified in the Schedule to this Notice;

(b) temporarily close any adjoining streets to those mentioned in the Schedule to vehicular traffic where this is considered necessary to facilitate the work in progress; and

(c) temporarily introduce banned turns, footway closures or waiting and loading restrictions at any time should this be required;

(d) introduce any other traffic management measures as required to facilitate gas main replacement works.

2. Wherever the work happens to be in progress in those streets or lengths of streets specified in the Schedule to this Notice, no person may cause or permit any vehicle to

(a) proceed in a direction other than that indicated by a traffic sign, or

(b) proceed in any street or length of street which may at the time be subject to a road closure until the completion of the work allows.

3. Whilst the provisions of the Order remain in force, waiting or loading by vehicles will be prohibited at any time in those streets or lengths of streets specified where work is in progress. Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction on waiting imposed by this Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.

4. During the prohibition referred to in paragraph 2 above, displaced traffic will be diverted via local streets as appropriate.

5. The Order will come into operation on the 28 December 2017 and will remain in force for a period of 18 months.

(Note: The provisions of the Order will only apply during such times and to such extent as shall from time to time be indicated by traffic signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2002. (Access for frontagers will be maintained as far as possible whilst the work proceeds).

(Access for frontagers will be maintained as far as possible whilst the work proceeds).

CROYDON COUNCIL ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT, 1984, SECTION 14 AS AMENDED THE ROAD TRAFFIC (TEMPORARY RESTRICTIONS) ACT 1991 AND ALL OTHER ENABLING POWERS JARVIS ROAD, SOUTH CROYDON TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF VEHICULAR TRAFFIC

1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that to facilitate excavations works for fibre optic installations, they have made an Order the effect of which would be to temporarily restrict vehicular traffic movements in Jarvis Road, South Croydon.

2. Whilst the said works are taking place no person shall cause any vehicle to proceed in Jarvis Road at its junction with Selsdon Road.

3. Whilst the closure remains in force the alternative route for diverted traffic will be via local streets as appropriately signed.

4. The Order will come into operation on 20 January 2018 and it is anticipated that the works will be carried out in 2 days. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further works be required.

CROYDON COUNCIL ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT, 1984, SECTION 14 AS AMENDED AND THE ROAD TRAFFIC (TEMPORARY RESTRICTIONS) ACT 1991

MAYDAY ROAD, THORNTON HEATH TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF PARKING
1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate the relocation of an MRI machine from Croydon University Hospital, they have made an Order the effect of which would be to temporarily restrict parking in Mayday Road, Thornton Heath.

2. Whilst the said works are taking place parking will be suspended and temporary waiting and loading restrictions will be introduced operating "at any time" on the south-east side of Mayday Road between the north­eastern flank wall of No. 42 Mayday Road and the common boundary of Nos. 26 and 28 Mayday Road.

3. The Order will come into operation on 28 December 2017 and it is anticipated that the works will be carried out within five hours, between 7pm and 11 pm. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further works be required.

4. The restriction will only apply during such times and to such extent as shall be indicated by traffic signs.
