CROYDON COUNCIL ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984, SECTION 16A AS AMENDED BY THE ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION (SPECIAL EVENTS) ACT 1994 TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC ORDER CROYDON 10K RUNNING RACE ASSOCIATED RESTRICTIONS
Croydon Council, with the agreement of Transport for London, HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that to facilitate the staging of the Croydon 10K they intend to make an Order, the effect of which will be to:
(a) temporarily introduce one-way working in Oaks Road in a south-westerly direction;

(b) temporarily introduce 'at any time' waiting and loading restrictions in Ranmore Avenue and Deepdene Avenue;

(c) temporarily close Lloyd Park Avenue;

(d) temporarily prohibit vehicles from proceeding in the roads specified in column 1 below at their junctions with the roads specified in column 2 below:

Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order, the effect of which will be to close Church Hill, Purley to vehicular traffic on the dates and at the times specified in the Schedule to this notice, to facilitate a play street.
2. During the dates and times specified in the Schedule to this Notice no person shall cause any vehicle to enter or proceed in Church Hill, between its junctions with Church Road and Deacon Close.

3. The provisions of the Order will not prevent access being maintained for pedestrians to any premises situated on or adjacent to any road to which this Order relates, or to any other premises accessible from, and only from, such a road.

4. Nothing in the Order shall apply:

a) to anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform;

b) to any vehicle being used for police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes, or the purposes of a statutory undertaker in an emergency, such as the loss of supplies of gas, electricity or water to premises in the area, which necessitates the bringing of vehicles into a section of road to which the order applies.

5. The Order will come into effect on Sunday 01 st October 2017 and will be reintroduced on the dates and times specified in the Schedule to this Notice.

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984, SECTION 14 AS AMENDED, THE ROAD TRAFFIC (TEMPORARY RESTRICTIONS) ACT 1991 AND ALL OTHER ENABLING POWERS WHITEHORSE ROAD, CROYDON
TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF VEHICULAR TRAFFIC
1. Croydon Council, HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that to facilitate gas main replacement works they have made an Order the effect of which will be to temporarily introduce a banned left turn from Whitehorse Road into Northcote Road.

2. Whilst the said works are taking place no person shall cause any vehicle to proceed to turn left into Northcote Road from Whitehorse Road.

3. Whilst the closure remains in force the alternative route for diverted traffic will be via local streets as appropriately signed.

4. The prohibitions specified in paragraph 2 above shall apply only during such times and to such extent as shall from time to time be indicated by traffic signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2002.

5. The Order will come into operation on 02 October 2017 and it is anticipated that the works will be carried out in 4 weeks. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further works be required.
