LONDON BOROUGH OF SUTTON ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14(1)
SEYMOUR ROAD, MITCHAM JUNCTION

1. The Council of the London Borough of Sutton hereby gives notice that In order to Install a new electricity main and because works are being executed near the road it made an Order the effect of which is summarised in paragraph 3 below.

2. The Order will come into effect on Tuesday 22 August 2017, with works expected to take 2 weeks to complete. However the Order will remain in force for 6 months to be re-introduced should further works be required.

3. When the works are taking place and the appropriate traffic signs are displayed the Order will temporarily in Seymour Road, Mitcham Junction between its junctions with London Road and Wolseley Road introduce waiting restrictions - 'no waiting at any time' and loading restrictions 'no loading at any time'.

4. Any vehicle that is in contravention of the temporary waiting & loading restrictions at a time When these restrictions apply will be removed to an alternative location in accordance with the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.

5. The prohibitions specified above apply only during such times and to such extent as indicated by traffic signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

LONDON BOROUGH OF SUTTON
BUSHEY LANE, BUSHEY ROAD, DEANS ROAD, RECTORY ROAD, THE GREEN, VALE ROAD AND VICARAGE ROAD, SUTTON

1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Sutton proposes to make the Orders listed below under sections 6, 45, 46, 49 and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended.

2. The principal objectives of the Orders are: to reduce parking pressures experienced by residents as a result of nearby building development by providing additional permit parking space and extending the hours of operation of parking places and 'controlled hours' waiting restrictions (single yellow lines); to attract passing trade and help local businesses
by incorporating a 30 minute free period within certain pay and display bays and extending the operational times and by increasing the permitted loading time from 30 minutes to 1 hour of a loading bay; and to prevent obstruction, improve sightlines and improve road safety by introducing 'at any time' waiting restrictions (double yellow lines) at certain road junctions.

3. The general effect of The Sutton (Free Parking Places) (Limited Time) (No. *) (Amendment No. *) Order 201*, would be to provide a free parking place on the east side of Bushey Lane, Sutton, outside No. 1 Bushey Lane that would operate 'at any time', with a maximum stay of 1 hour with no return within 4 hours (replacing double yellow line waiting restrictions).

4. The general effect of The Sutton (Loading Places) (Limited Time) (No. *) (Amendment No. *) Order 201*, would be to amend the hours of operation and maximum stay of the loading bay on the south side of Vale Road, Sutton near its junction with High Street so that it would operate between 7am and 10pm throughout the week, with a maximum stay of 1 hour with no return within 4 hours.

5. The general effect of The Sutton (On Street Parking Places) (Sutton Controlled Parking Zone) (No. *) (Amendment No. *) Order 201* would be to:

(a) remove a motorcycle parking place on the north-west side of Bushey Road, Sutton, opposite No. 7 and 9 Bushey Road and replace it by extending the adjacent Zone B permit holders parking places that would be available to Zone B permit holders and would operate between 7am and 10pm throughout the week;
(b) provide Zone B permit holders parking places on the east side of Bushey Lane, Sutton, adjacent to No. 60 Vale Road and opposite Vale Road (replacing single yellow line waiting restrictions);
(c) provide a Zone B permit holders parking place on the east side of Bushey Lane, Sutton, adjacent to No. 62 Bushey Road (replacing double yellow line waiting restrictions);
(d) extend the hours of operation of the permit parking places in Bushey Lane, Bushey Road, Deans Road, Rectory Road, Vale Road and Vicarage Road, Sutton so that they would operate between 7am and 10pm throughout the week;
(e) extend the hours of operation of the shared-use (permit and pay and display) parking places in The Green and Vale Road, Sutton so that they would operate between 7am and 9am and between 4pm and 10pm on Mondays to Fridays inclusive and between 7am and 10pm on Saturdays and Sundays and introduce a free initial parking period of 30 minutes in those parking places;
(f) extend the hours of operation of the existing shared use (permit and pay and display) parking places in Bushey Lane, Deans Road, Rectory Lane, Vicarage Road Sutton so that they would operate between 7am and 10pm throughout the week.

6. The general effect of The Sutton (Waiting and Loading Restriction) (No. *) (Amendment No. *) Order 201*,
would be to:

(a) replace single yellow line waiting restrictions with double yellow line 'at any time' waiting restrictions:

(i) at the junction of Deans Road and Vicarage Road, Sutton
(ii) at the junction of Bushey Road and Bushey Lane, Sutton; and
(iii)at the junction of Vale Road and Bushey Lane, Sutton; and

(b) increase the hours of operation of all single yellow line waiting restrictions in Bushey Lane, Bushey Road, Deans Road, Rectory Road, The Green, Vale Road and Vicarage Road, Sutton that are not referred to in paragraph 5 of this Notice or sub-paragraph (a) above, so that they would operate between 7am and 10pm throughout the week.

7. Copies of the proposed Orders, of the Council's Statement of Reasons for proposing to make the Orders (and of the Orders that would be revoked or amended by the proposed Orders) and plans showing the locations and the effects
of the proposals may be inspected at the Council's Civic Offices at St. Nicholas Way, Sutton and at the Environment and Regeneration Offices at 24 Denmark Road, Carshalton between 9am - 5pm Monday to Friday.

8. LONDON BOROUGH OF SUTTON
ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14(1) GREEN WRYTHE LANE AND MIDDLETON ROAD

1. The Council of the London Borough of Sutton with the agreement of London Borough of Merton hereby gives notice that in order to facilitate a gas main replacement and because works are being executed near the road it intends to make an Order the effect of which is summarised in paragraph 3 below.

2. The Order will come into effect on Monday 11 September 2017, with works expected to take 7 Months to complete. However the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be re-introduced should further works be required.

3. When the works are taking place and the appropriate traffic signs are displayed the Order will temporarily from their junction with Bishopsford Road for a distance of 25 metres close the following roads:-

* Green Wrythe Lane; and
Middleton Road.

4. An alternative route for vehicular traffic will be for:

* Green Wrythe Lane via Robertsbridge Road and Middleton Road; and
* Middleton Road via Robertsbridge Road, Green Wrythe Lane and Bishopsford Road.

5. The prohibitions specified above apply only during such times and to such extent as indicated by traffic signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.
