THE SURREY COUNTY COUNCIL (D2237) KENDOR AVENUE, EPSOM TEMPORARY(ONE-WAY TRAFFIC) ORDER 2017

ON 21ST JUNE 2017 SURREY COUNTY COUNCIL MADE the above named Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to impose an eastbound one-way system for all vehicular traffic in that length of (D2237) Kendor Avenue as extends from its junction with (D2418) Upper Court Road to apoint in line with the property boundary line between property No. 41 and No. 42 Kendor Avenue. The alternative route for all vehicular traffic (including emergency vehicles) will be via Upper Court Road, Manor Green Road and Kendor Avenue, from where it is possible to proceed eastwards into Upper Court Road. The above restriction shall not apply to vehicles being used in relation to anything done with the permission or at the direction of apolice constable in uniform; or in accordance with any restriction or requirement indicated by traffic signs placed on the road by or on behalf of the
Police. The Order is required to enable Thames Water to carry out sewer repairs and will come into force on 26th June 2017 for aperiod of six months. The restriction will be in force 24 hoursper day; however the works are anticipated to be completed within 12 days, between 08.00hrsand 17.00hrsonweekdays and between 08.00hrs and 13.00hrs on Saturdays.

EXTENSION TO THE SURREY COUNTY COUNCIL (D2169) COURTLANE, EPSOM TEMPORARYPROHIBITION OF WAITING ORDER 2017
THE SURREY COUNTY COUNCIL (D2169) COURT LANE, EPSOM TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF WAITING ORDER 2017 Under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation At 1984, which was made on the grounds that works werebeing or proposed to be executed on, or near,the above mentioned road and came into operation on 15 January 2017, was due to expireon15July 2017, has been extended by Surrey County Council until 14 July 2018.The effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit vehicles from waiting in that length of (D2169) Court
Lane, Epsom between its junction with West Hill and the north westernboundary of the property known as The Sidings. This Order is required to assist Zestan Ltd with access for construction vehicles to adevelopment site in Court Lane, Epsom. These works areanticipated to take place over nineteen weeks between the hours of 07.30hrs and 18.00hrs.The temporary prohibition of waiting will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed.
Exemptions areprovided in respect of the temporary waiting restrictions to permit vehicles to wait in order to pick up and set down passengers, to load and unload goods, to carry out essential services and works or when used by local authorities in pursuance of statutory powers or duties and for furnitureremovals. (N.B. Disabled persons displaying adisabled blue badge will not be exempt from the temporary waiting restriction). The usual Exemptions apply for Post Office vehicles when delivering or collecting postal packets, vehicles when waiting because they arerequired by law to stop, are obliged to stop in order to prevent an accident or are prevented from proceeding because of circumstances outside the drivers control and in respect of anything done with the permission or at the direction of apolice constable in uniform or of acivil enforcement officer will apply when the temporary waiting restriction is in force.
