AMENDMENTS TO ZEBRA CROSSING ON COOMBE ROAD BY LIME GROVE NEW MALDEN
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT The Council of the Royal Borough of Kingston upon Thames intends to make amendments to the Zebra Crossing on Coombe Road adjacent to the north-side of Lime Grove. The changes include, moving the crossing area northward by approximately 3 metres, widening the width of the crossing area to 4 metres and raising a 7 metre length of road surface to footway level with 2 metre ramps [Raised Table]. The purpose of
the changes is to improve safety, meet current design standards and
provide adequate capacity for peak crossing demand by pedestrians.
1. Full details of the proposals are shown on a plan, which may be inspected, between the hours of 9:30am and 4:30pm on Mondays to Fridays inclusive until 23rd June 2017 at the ground floor reception area of Guildhall 2, Kingston upon Thames, KT1 1EU.
