The Croydon (Prohibition and Restriction of Stopping, Loading and Waiting) and (Free Parking Places) (No. 23) Order 2021
The Croydon (On-Street Charged-For Parking Places) (No.23) Order 2021

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Croydon Council on 20 December 2021, made the above Traffic Orders under section 6 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended and all other enabling powers.
1. The general effect of the Orders will be to:
a) Revoke the disabled parking places in the vicinity of No.19 Nugent Road, South Norwood, No. 2 Eskmont Ridge, Upper Norwood, No. 36 Penshurst Road, Thornton Heath and No. 390 King Henry's Drive, New Addington.

b) Designate new parking places at which vehicles displaying a disabled persons' badge may be left without charge or time limit in the following locations.
Bramley Hill, South Croydon
Outside No. 15 and partially across the frontage of No. 13 (replaces one permit/ payment parking bay)
Buxton Road, Thornton Heath
Partially outside Nos. 5 and 7 (replaces one space within a permit/ payment parking bay)
Cresswell Road, South Norwood
Outside No. 36 and partially across the frontage of No. 34
Freelands Avenue, South Croydon
Outside No. 48
Granville Close, Croydon
Opposite Nos. 43, 44 & 45

c) Amend the map-based tiles to the Schedule attached to the above Orders so as to accurately represent the new parking arrangements as they exist on site.

2. Copies of the Orders, which will come into operation on 10 January, 2022 and of all associated Orders can be inspected from 9am to 4pm on Mondays to Fridays inclusive until the end of six weeks from the date on which the Orders were made, at the "Access Croydon" Facility, 8 Mint Walk, Croydon, CR0 1EA.

3. Copies of the Orders may be obtained from the Parking Design Team, 6th Floor, Zone C, Bernard Weatherill House, 8 Mint Walk, Croydon CR0 1EA.

4. Any person desiring to question the validity of the Orders or of any provision contained therein on the ground that it is not within the relevant powers of the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984 or that any of the relevant requirements thereof or of any relevant regulations made there under have not been complied with in relation to the Orders may, within six weeks of the date on which the Orders were made, make application for the purpose to the High Court.

The Croydon (On-Street Charged-For Parking Places) (Amendment No.V56) Order 20-

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Croydon Council proposes to make the above Traffic Orders under section 6 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended and all other enabling powers.
1. The general effect of the Orders would be to:
a) Revoke the disabled parking places in the vicinity of No. 122 Benhurst Gardens, South Croydon, No. 172 Bensham Lane, Thornton Heath, No. 37 Berne Road, Thornton Heath, No. 102 Crowther Road, South Norwood, No. 416 Davidson Road, Croydon, No. 101 Fairlands Avenue, Thornton Heath and No. 40 Glossop Road, South Croydon.

c) Amend the map-based tiles to the Schedule attached to the above Orders so as to accurately represent the new parking arrangements as they exist on site.
3. A copy of the proposed Orders and of all related Orders, of the Council's statement of reasons for proposing to make the Orders and of the plans which indicate each length of road to which the Orders relate, can be inspected between 9am and 4pm on Mondays to Fridays inclusive until the last day of a period of six weeks beginning with the date on which the Orders are made or, as the case may be, the Council decides not to make the Orders, at the Enquiry Counter, 'Access Croydon' Facility, Bernard Weatherill House, 8 Mint Walk, Croydon, CR0 1 EA. 4. Persons desiring to object to the proposed Orders should send a statement in writing of their objection and the grounds thereof to the, Parking Design section, Place Department, 6th Floor, Zone C, Bernard Weatherill House, 8 Mint Walk, Croydon, CR0 1EA or by emailing Parking.Design@croydon.gov.uk quoting the reference: PD/CH/V55 & V56 by 13 January 2022.

AS AMENDED AND THE ROAD TRAFFIC (TEMPORARY RESTRICTIONS! ACT 1991
QUADRANT ROAD. THORNTON HEATH
NOTICE OF TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF TRAFFIC & PARKING

1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate works to install new gas connections they have made an Order the effect of which would be to temporarily restrict traffic and parking in Quadrant Road.

2. Whilst the said works are taking place:-

a) Quadrant Road will be closed outside No. 67b Quadrant Road;

b) Parking will be suspended and waiting and loading restrictions will apply "at any time" outside Nos. 65 to 69 Quadrant Road on both sides of the road.

3. During the closure the diversion route for vehicular traffic will be via Brigstock Road, Elliot Road, Melfort Road and Brook Road as appropriately signed.

4. The Order will come into operation on 04 January 2022 and it is anticipated that the works will be carried out within five days. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further works be required.

5. The restrictions shall not apply in respect of:

(a) any vehicle involved in carrying out the said works;

(b) any vehicle being used for fire brigade, ambulance or police purposes;

(c) anything done with the permission of a police constable in uniform or a Civil Enforcement Officer.

THE ROAD TRAFFIC (TEMPORARY RESTRICTIONS) ACT 1991 AND ALL OTHER ENABLING POWERS
BIGGINWOOD ROAD. NORBURY
TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF VEHICULAR TRAFFIC

1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that to facilitate blockage clearance works, they intend to make an Order the effect of which would be to temporarily restrict vehicular traffic movements in Bigginwood Road, Norbury.

2. Whilst the said works are taking place, Bigginwood Road will be closed between its junction with Croft Road and the south-eastern boundary of No. 39 Bigginwood Road.

3. The Order will come into operation on the 07 January 2022 and it is anticipated that the works will be carried out in five days. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further works be required.

4. Whilst the closure is in place the alternative route for vehicular traffic will be via St Oswald's Road, Green Lane and Croft Road.

5. The restriction shall not apply in respect of:

(a) any vehicle involved in carrying out the said works;

(b) any vehicle being used for fire brigade, ambulance or police purposes;

(c) anything done with the permission of a police constable in uniform or a Civil Enforcement Officer.

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT. 1984. SECTION 14 AS AMENDED BY THE LOCAL GOVERNMENT ACT 1985 AND THE ROAD TRAFFIC (TEMPORARY RESTRICTIONS) ACT 1991 CONISTON ROAD. CROYDON TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC & PARKING

1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that to facilitate the installation of a new gas service they intend to make an Order the effect of which will be to temporarily restrict traffic and parking in Coniston Road.

2. Whilst the said works are taking place:-

(a) Coniston Road will be closed outside No. 49;

(b) Parking will be suspended and waiting restrictions will apply "at any time" on both sides of the road outside Nos. 43 to 57 Coniston Road.

3. Whilst the closure is in operation the alternative route for traffic will be via Cambourne Road and Dalmally Road.

4. The Order will come into operation on 10 January 2022 and it is anticipated that the works will be completed on 17 January 2022. However, the Order will remain in force for a maximum duration of 18 months to be reintroduced if further works are required.

5. The restrictions shall not apply in respect of:

(a) any vehicle being used for fire brigade, ambulance or police purposes;

(b) any vehicle carrying out the said works;

(c) anything done with the permission of a police constable in uniform or a Civil Enforcement Officer.

THE ROAD TRAFFIC (TEMPORARY RESTRICTIONS) ACT 1991 AND ALL OTHER ENABLING POWERS
HESTERMAN WAY. CROYDON
TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC

1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that to facilitate works to relocate a roundabout and build a new service entrance, they intend to make an Order the effect of which would be to temporarily prohibit traffic movements in Hesterman Way, Croydon.

2. Whilst the said works are taking place, both the carriageway and footway of Hesterman Way, Croydon, will be closed between the entrance to the Valley Park Shopping Centre and the roundabout adjacent to Macdonald's, Valley Park.

3. Whilst the closure remains in force the alternative route for diverted vehicular traffic will Daniell Way and Hesterman Way, as appropriately signed. Pedestrians will be diverted into a walkway in the carriageway.

4. The Order will come into operation on 06 January 2022 and it is anticipated that the works will be carried out in 25 days. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further works be required. The prohibitions will only apply during such times and to such extent as shall from time to time be indicated by traffic signs.

5. These restrictions shall not apply in respect of:
(a) A vehicle involved in the said works;

(b) A vehicle being used for fire brigade, ambulance or police purposes;

(c) Anything done with the permission of a police constable in uniform or a Civil Enforcement Officer.
