ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT. 1984.

SECTION 14 AS AMENDED THE ROAD TRAFFIC (TEMPORARY RESTRICTIONS) ACT 1991 AND ALL OTHER ENABLING POWERS

ABBOTS LANE. KENLEY
TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC & PARKING
1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that to facilitate new connection works by UKPN, they have made an Order the effect of which would be to temporarily prohibit vehicular traffic movements and parking in Abbots Lane, Kenley.

2. Whilst the said works are taking place:-

a) Abbots Lane will be closed outside No.12;

b) Parking will be suspended and waiting and loading restrictions will apply at any time in Abbots Lane outside No. 12.

3. Whilst the closure remains in force the alternative route for diverted traffic will be via Abbots Lane, Hayes Lane and Abbots Lane and vice versa, as appropriately signed.

4. The Order will come into operation on 07 December 2021 and it is anticipated that the works will be carried out within seven days. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further works be required. The prohibitions will only apply during such times and to such extent as shall from time to time be indicated by traffic signs.

5. These restrictions shall not apply in respect of:

(a) A vehicle involved in the said works;

(b) A vehicle being used for fire brigade, ambulance or police purposes;

(c) Anything done with the permission of a police constable in uniform or a Civil Enforcement Officer.

BISHOP'S ROAD. CROYDON
TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF VEHICULAR TRAFFIC & PARKING

1. Croydon Council, HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that to facilitate works to install new water connections they have made an Order the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit vehicular traffic movements and parking in Bishop's Road.

2. Whilst the said works are taking place:-

a) Bishop's Road will be closed from the common boundary of Nos. 11 and 12 Bishop's Road to the common boundary of Nos. 21 and 21a Bishop's Road;

b) Parking will be suspended and waiting and loading restrictions will apply at any time on the south-east side of the road from the north­eastern flank wall of No. 23a Bishops Road to the common boundary of Nos. 24 and 25 Bishop's Road;

c) One-way working in Bishop's Road will be suspended to allow two-way traffic.

3. Whilst the Order remains in force the alternative routes for traffic will be via Handcraft Road, Dennett Road, Mitcham Road and Addington Road, or via Longley Road, Addington Road, Mitcham Road and Dennett Road, as appropriately signed.

4. The Order will come into operation on 07 December 2021 and it is anticipated that the works will be carried out within four days. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further works be required.

5. The restrictions shall not apply in respect of:

(a) any vehicle involved in carrying out the said works;

(b) any vehicle being used for fire brigade, ambulance or police purposes;

(c) anything done with the permission of a police constable in uniform or a Civil Enforcement Officer.

FOOTPATH NO. 851. OAK BANK. FIELD WAY. NEW ADDINGTON
TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF PEDESTRIAN TRAFFIC
1. Croydon Council, HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that to facilitate works by UKPN, they have made an order the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit pedestrian movements on Footpath No. 851.

2. Whilst the said works are taking place no person shall proceed along Public Footpath No.851 adjacent to the flank wall of No.136 Oak Bank, Field Way.

3. Whilst the Order remains in force the alternative route for pedestrians will be via a temporary footpath, as appropriately signed.

4. The Order will come into operation on 06 December 2021 and it is anticipated that the works will be carried out within 5 days. However, the Order will remain in force for 6 months to be reintroduced should further works be required. The prohibition will only apply during such times and to such extent as shall from time to time be indicated by traffic signs.

5. Nothing in this Order shall apply to anyone carrying out the said works, or to anything done for police, ambulance or fire brigade purposes or with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or a civil enforcement officer.

TAMWORTH ROAD. CROYDON
TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF TRAFFIC

1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate duct cleaning works, they have made an Order the effect of which would be to temporarily restrict traffic in Tamworth Road, Croydon.

2. Whilst the said works are taking place the bus lane on the north-west side of Tamworth Road will be closed between its junction with Waddon New Road and the south-western flank wall of No. 39 Tamworth Road.

3. The Order will come into operation on 02 December 2021 and it is anticipated that the works will be completed within two days. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further works be required.

4. These restrictions shall not apply in respect of:

(a) any vehicle involved in carrying out the said works;

(b) any vehicle being used for fire brigade, ambulance or police purposes;

(c) anything done with the permission of a police constable in uniform or a Civil Enforcement Officer.

TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC ORDER

SOUTH NORWOOD CHRISTMAS MARKET STATION ROAD. SOUTH NORWOOD ASSOCIATED RESTRICTIONS
1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that to facilitate a Christmas market they intend to make a Traffic Order the effect of which will be to restrict traffic and parking in Station Road, South Norwood.

2. During the event:-

a) Station Road will be closed between Cargreen Road and High Street, South Norwood;

b) Parking bays on the north-east (odd-numbered) side of Lawrence Road (outside Nos. 5 to 7 and 17 to 29 Lawrence Road and adjacent to No. 196 Selhurst Road, in Lawrence Road) will be suspended to facilitate access to Cargreen Road for lorries delivering to the Aldi store.

3. During the closure the alternative route for traffic will be via Selhurst Road, Lawrence Road and Cargreen Road and reversed.

4. The provisions of the Order will not prevent access being maintained for pedestrians to any premises situated on or adjacent to any road to which this Order relates, or to any other premises accessible from, and only from such a road.

5. The Order will come into effect on 04 December 2021 and will remain in force for one day, from approximately 7am to 6pm.

6. Nothing in the Order shall apply:

a) to anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform;

b) to any vehicle being used for police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes, or the purposes of a statutory undertaker in an emergency, such as the loss of supplies of gas, electricity or water to premises in the area, which necessitates the bringing of vehicles into a section of road to which the order applies
