(Seaham) (Parking and Waiting Restrictions) Consolidation No.l Order 2015 (Amendment No.l) Order 2021
The Council on 19 November 2021 made an Order under Sections 1,2,4,32 & 35 & Part IV of Sch. 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 "the Act"), as amended, the effect of which comes into operation on 3 December 2021 and To introduce No Waiting At Any Time restrictions on: a. The B128S, west side, from a point adjacent to Tesco Express in a southerly direction, extending into the junction of Melrose Crescent for 74 metres, b. Melrose Crescent south side, from the junction with the B1285 Church Lane, in a westerly direction for 27 metres, c Gregson Terrace, both sides from a point adjacent to Number 42 Gregson Terrace in a northerly direction for 14 metres to the junction with Seaton Lane. d. Dalton Avenue Cross, from the junction with the access road for Seaham Leisure Centre, in a southerly direction into the access road for 11 metres on both side of the road. e. A continuation of the existing restrictions both sides of the junction from Station Road leading into Hambleton Drive in a southernly direction for 6m. f. Clara Street both sides, from the existing restrictions at the junction with Station Road in a southerly direction for 7 metres, g. Dene House Road, north side, from a point adjacent to Number 4 Trinity Court in an easterly direction for 35 metres also extending into both sides of the Junction with Trinity Court 6 metres, h. The junction of Countess Close and Dene House Road both sides for 12 metres in a southedy direction. L Admiralty Way east side, from a point adjacent to Unit Number 3 Admiralty Way around the junction and into the access road for units 1,2,3,4 and 5, for 195 metres and into the car park access junction on both sides for 5 metres, j. Admiralty Way east side, from a point adjacent to Unit Number 5 Admiralty Way around the junction and into the access road for units 1,2,3,4 and 5 for 28 metres, k. Church Street both sides, from a point adjacent to the junction of Adelaide Row and Caroline Street in an easterly direction for 228 metres, the southerly for 10 metres to a point adjacent to Number 1 South Terrace. L Green Street from its junction with Church Street in a northerly direction for 23 metres to a point adjacent to the rear of 67 Church Street m. Green Street from its junction with Church Street in a southerly direction for 25 metres to a point adjacent to the rears of Number 8 Church Street and Number 3 South Terrace, n. Green Street both sides, from its junction with Shaw Street, in a southeriy direction for 15 metres, o. Spectrum Business Park both sides, including entrance ways, from the roundabout junction with the A182 in a southerly direction for 352 metres, p. Spectrum Business Park, both sides, from the junction of the road leading to Spectrum 8 including entrance ways for 166 metres, q. The west side of Hill Crescent for 185 metres leading into Hazel Dene Way for 21 metres, and continuing in a south-east direction to the junction of Spectrum Business Park. r. New Drive both sides, from a point adjacent to the gatepost of No. 5 New Drive in a southerly then easterly direction onto Dene House Road for 40 metres extending into the junctions for the exit of the car park of Harbour Walk for 10 metres, and the junction of Harbour Walk and Dene House Road for 10 metres. 7b introduce No Watting and No loading/Unloading At Any Time restrictions on: South Terrace from the existing restrictions in a southerly direction for 28 metres. or telephone 03000 269738 Any person wishing to question the validity of the Order or of any provision contained in it on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by "the Act", as amended, or on the grounds that any requirement of that Act or of any regulation made under it has not been complied with in relation to the Order may, within 6 weeks from 12 November 2021 apply to make an application for that purpose to the High Court.
