DISABLED PERSONS PARKING PLACES - SCHEDULE 218
The Croydon (Prohibition and Restriction of Stopping, Loading and Waiting) and (Free Parking Places) (No.19) Order 2021
The Croydon (On-Street Charged-For Parking Places) (No.19 Order 2021

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Croydon Council on 25 October 2021 made the above Traffic Orders under section 6 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended and all other enabling powers.
1. The general effect of the Orders will be to:

a) Designate new parking places at which vehicles displaying a disabled persons' badge may be left without charge or time limit in the following location.
St Luke's Close, South Norwood  Opposite Nos. 39 to 54 (two bays adjacent to the existing disabled bay)

b) Amend the map-based tiles to the Schedule attached to the above Orders so as to accurately represent the new parking arrangements as they exist on site.

2. Copies of the Orders, which will come into operation on 15 November 2021, and of all associated Orders can be inspected from 9am to 4pm on Mondays to Fridays inclusive until the end of six weeks from the date on which the Orders were made, by appointment at the "Access Croydon" Facility, 8 Mint Walk, Croydon, CRO 1EA.

3. Copies of the Orders may be obtained from the Parking Design Team, 6th Floor, Zone C, Bernard Weatherill House, 8 Mint Walk, Croydon CRO 1 EA (email: parking.design@croydon.gov.uk).

4. Any person desiring to question the validity of the Orders or of any provision contained therein on the ground that it is not within the relevant powers of the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984 or that any of the relevant requirements thereof or of any relevant regulations made there under have not been complied with in relation to the Orders may, within six weeks of the date on which the Orders were made, make application for the purpose to the High Court.

EXTENSION TO THE SOUTH NORWOOD CONTROLLED PARKING ZONE ALBERT ROAD
The Croydon (On-Street Charged-For Parking Places) (No.18) Order 2021

The Croydon (Prohibition and Restriction of Stopping, Loading and Waiting) and (Free Parking Places) (No.18) Order 2021
1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Croydon Council on 08 November 2021 made the above Traffic Orders under Sections 6, 45, 46, 49 and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984, as amended and all other enabling powers.

The general effect of the Orders will be to extend the South Norwood Controlled Parking Zone into Albert Road (from the existing South Norwood CPZ boundary near Coventry Road to its junction with Eldon Park):-

(a) Introducing shared use (pay-by-phone/permit) parking bays with a 2-hour maximum stay for pay-by-phone users and single yellow line waiting restrictions operating from 9am to 5pm, Mondays to Saturdays inclusive, into the above section of Albert Road;

(c)
Charges for pay-by-phone parking in the bays in Albert Road will depend on vehicle emissions as shown in the Schedule to this Notice.

(d) Residents and businesses within the section of Albert Road specified (Nos. 44a to 60 and Nos. 73 to 103 Albert Road) and at No. 1 Eldon Park and Nos. 1 to 6 Eldon Court, may apply for parking permits. Annual permit charges are shown in the Schedule to this Notice. A £30 administration fee applies to all new applications.

(e) The general effect of the Orders will also be to amend the map-based tiles to the Schedule attached to the above Orders so as to accurately represent the new parking arrangements as they exist on site.

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT. 1984 SECTION 14. AS AMENDED THE ROAD TRAFFIC (TEMPORARY RESTRICTIONS) ACT 1991
TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF PARKING & PEDESTRIAN TRAFFIC VARIOUS LOCATIONS

1. Croydon Council, HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that to facilitate works to install electric vehicle parking bays and charging points they have made an Order the effect of which would be to temporarily restrict parking and pedestrian traffic in the roads listed in the Schedule to this Notice.

2. Whilst the said works are taking place:

a) Parking will be suspended and waiting and loading restrictions will apply at any time in the sections of road listed in column 2 of the Schedule to this Notice;

b) Footway closures will apply in the sections of footway listed in column 3 of the Schedule to this Notice and pedestrians will be directed into a walkway in the carriageway.

3. The Order will come into operation on the 15 November 2021 and it is anticipated that the works will be completed by mid-December 2021. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further works be required. The prohibitions will only apply during such times and to such extent as shall from time to time be indicated by traffic signs.

4. These restrictions shall not apply in respect of:

(a) A vehicle involved in carrying out the said works;

(b) A vehicle being used for fire brigade, ambulance or police purposes;

(c) Anything done with the permission of a police constable in uniform or a Civil Enforcement Officer.

NORBURY AVENUE. NORBURY
TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC
1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that to facilitate telecoms installation works, they have made an Order the effect of which would be to temporarily prohibit traffic movements in Norbury Avenue, Norbury.

2. Whilst the said works are taking place Norbury Avenue will be closed between its junction with London Road and the south-eastern boundary of No. 351 Norbury Avenue.

3. The Order will come into operation on 17 November 2021 and it is anticipated that the works will be completed within four days. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further works be required. The prohibitions will only apply during such times and to such extent as shall from time to time be indicated by traffic signs.

4. Whilst the closure is in force the diversion route will be via London Road, Green Lane, Kensington Avenue and Norbury Avenue and reversed.

5. These restrictions shall not apply in respect of:

(a) any vehicle involved in carrying out the said works;

(b) any vehicle being used for fire brigade, ambulance or police purposes;

(c) anything done with the permission of a police constable in uniform or a Civil Enforcement Officer.
