DISABLED PERSONS PARKING PLACES - SCHEDULE 220

The Croydon (Prohibition and Restriction of Stopping, Loading and Waiting) and (Free Parking Places) (No.20) Order 2021 The Croydon (On-Street Charged-For Parking Places) (No.20) Order 2021
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Croydon Council on 01 November 2021 made the above Traffic Orders under section 6 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended and all other enabling powers.
1. The general effect of the Orders would be to:

a) Revoke the disabled parking places in the vicinity of No.177 Bensham Lane, Thornton Heath, No.12 Enmore Avenue, South Norwood No.49 Everton Road, Croydon, No.116 Kingsdown Avenue, South Croydon, No.152 Kingsdown Avenue, South Croydon, No.66 Lucerne Road, Thornton Heath, No.9 Lynwood Gardens, Croydon, No.24 Tylecroft Road, Norbury, No.63 Watcombe Road, South Norwood, No.8 Zermatt Road, Thornton Heath.

b) Designate new parking places at which vehicles displaying a disabled persons' badge may be left without charge or time limit in the following locations.

c) Amend the map-based tiles to the Schedule attached to the above
Orders so as to accurately represent the new parking arrangements
as they exist on site.

2. Copies of the Orders, which will come into operation on 29 November 2021 and of all associated Orders can be inspected from 9am to 4pm on Mondays to Fridays inclusive until the end of six weeks from the date on which the Orders were made, at the "Access Croydon'' Facility, 8 Mint Walk, Croydon, CR0 1EA.

3. Copies of the Orders may be obtained from the Parking Design Team, 6th Floor, Zone C, Bernard Weatherill House, 8 Mint Walk, Croydon CR0 1EA.

4. Any person desiring to question the validity of the Orders or of any provision contained therein on the ground that it is not within the relevant powers of the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984 or that any of the relevant requirements thereof or of any relevant regulations made there under have not been complied with in relation to the Orders may, within six weeks of the date on which the Orders were made, make application for the purpose to the High Court.

INTRODUCTION OF ELECTRIC VEHICLE CHARGING BAYS AND CHARGING POINTS - VARIOUS LOCATIONS WITHIN THE LONDON BOROUGH OF CROYDON

1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Croydon Council on 01 November 2021 made the above Traffic Orders under the relevant sections of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended and all other enabling powers and also proposes to install electric vehicle charging points under section 16 of the London Local Authorities and Transport for London Act 2013.

2. The general effect of the Orders will be:-

(a) To provide parking places which may be used free of charge by electrically propelled vehicles that are being charged with electrical power, operational at any time on Mondays to Sundays inclusive, in the locations detailed in the Schedule to this Notice.

(b) To install electric vehicle charging points adjacent to the proposed parking places, as specified in the Schedule to this Notice.

(c) To amend the map-based tiles to the Schedule attached to the above Orders so as to accurately represent the new parking arrangements as they exist on site.

NOTE: although parking in the electric vehicle bays is free of charge there is normally a cost involved in the use of the adjacent electric vehicle charging points.

FAIRFIELD HALLS, PARK LANE, CROYDON PROPOSED INTRODUCTION OF PAY-BY-PHONE ONLY OFF-STREET UNDERGROUND CAR PARK
The Croydon (Off Street Parking Places) (No.V45) Traffic Order 20-

1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Croydon Council propose to make the above Traffic Order under Sections 32, 35, 124 of, and Parts I to IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984 as amended and all other enabling powers.

2. The general effect of the Order would be:

(a) To designate the area described in the Schedule to this Notice as an underground pay-by-phone only 24 hour off-street public car park, with charges as detailed below;

* Band 1 - vehicles emitting less than 1 g/km C02
** Band 2 - vehicles emitting between 1 and 185g/km C02
*** Band 3 - vehicles emitting more than 185g/km C02; vehicles
registered before March 2001; diesel engine vehicles registered before
September 2015
(b) All vehicles left in the car park specified in the Schedule to this Notice must be parked within marked bays having made payment for their parking time using the pay-by-phone system;

(c) Vehicles that are parked without payment, not parked within marked bays or not parked in accordance with the signs and surface markings displayed would be liable to receive a Penalty Charge Notice.

Copies of the proposed Order and all related documents can be inspected until the last day of a period of six weeks beginning with the date on which the Order is made or, as the case may be, the Council decides not to make the Order, between 9am and 4pm on Mondays to Fridays at the Enquiry Counter, "Access Croydon" Facility, Bernard Weatherill House, 8 Mint Walk, Croydon, CR0 1EA.

4. Persons desiring to object to the proposed Order should send a statement in writing of their objection and the grounds thereof to the Order Making Section, 6" Floor, Zone C, Bernard Wetherill House, 8 Mint Walk, Croydon, CRO 1 EA or email Parking.Design@croydon.gov.uk quoting the reference PD/CH/V45 by 25 November 2021.

5. The Order is intended to designate a new underground off-street car park at the Fairfield Halls to provide 24 hour pay-by-phone off-street parking for members of the public.
