(Footpath Number 3 (between Cricket Club and Carnation Avenue), Bournmoor) (Temporary Footpath Closure) Order 2021
The Council proposes to make an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984 as amended, Section 14 (1) to prohibit all pedestrian traffic from proceeding on a 240 metre length of Footpath Number 3 Bourmnoor Parish between its junctions with the access to Bournmoor Cricket Club and Carnation Avenue to enable tree pruning works to be undertaken. Alternative route from the northern side of the closure south westerly along Chester Road turning southwards on St Barnabas then easterly on the footpath along the northern gables of Rose Crescent and Violet Terrace and south onto Violet Terrace then easterly along Carnation Avenue to the link path onto Footpath Number 3 to the southern side of the closure and vice versa. The maximum duration of the Order is 6 months. The proposed works are to commence on 25/10/21 and are anticipated to be completed in 2 weeks. On occasions, alternative dates for closure may be necessary and these will be signed accordingly.
