LONDON BOROUGH OF MERTON ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14(1) (RAYNES PARK BRIDGE AND VARIOUS ROADS. RAYNES PARK) (TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2021
1. The Council of the London Borough of Merton hereby give notice that to facilitate pigeon proofing to the rail bridge in Raynes Park Bridge, Raynes Park, they intend to make an Order, the effect of which would be to temporarily restrict pedestrian and vehicular traffic in the said road.

2. During the works, no person would:-

(a) cause or permit any vehicle to enter or proceed in Raynes Park Bridge, between its junction with Coombe Lane and its junction with Approach Road; or

(b) cause or permit any vehicle to wait, including for the purposes of loading or unloading any vehicle, in:-

(i) the length of Raynes Park Bridge specified in sub-paragraph (aj above;

(ii) Approach Road, from a point 40 metres west of the western kerb-line of Raynes Park Bridge eastward to a point 130 metres east of the eastern kerb-line of Raynes Park Bridge;

(Hi) Coombe Lane, from its junction with Pepys Road to a point 30 metres west of the western kerb-line of Raynes Park Bridge;
(iv) Pepys Road, from its junction with Coombe Lane to a point 70 metres north-east of the eastern kerb-line of Raynes Park Bridge; or
(c) enter or proceed on foot in the length of Raynes Park Bridge specified in sub-paragraph (a) above.

3. The restrictions would only apply during such times and to such extent as would from time to time be indicated by traffic signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

4. Vehicular traffic affected by the road closure should proceed northbound by way of Approach Road, Kingston Road, Merton Road, The Broadway, Gladstone Road, Sir Cyril Black Way, Hartfield Road, Wimbledon Bridge, Wimbledon Hill Road, Worple Road, Pepys Road and Coombe Lane or southbound via Coombe Lane, Lambton Road, Worple Road, Wimbledon Hill Road, Wimbledon Bridge, The Broadway, Merton Road, Morden Road, London Road, Crown Road, Martin Way, Bushey Road, Grand Drive and Approach Road.

5. Pedestrian traffic affected by the road and footway closures should proceed using Approach Road, Station Approach, the underpass at Raynes Park Station and Coombe Lane.

6. Nothing in the Order would apply to: -

(a) any person or vehicle engaged in the execution of the said works; or

(b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or a police community support officer in uniform; or

(c) any vehicle being used for police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes.

7. Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any waiting prohibition imposed by the Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.

8. The Order would come into operation at 10pm on Monday 6 September 2021 and it is anticipated that the works would be carried out overnight between the hours of 10pm and 6am the following day every night from Monday 6 September 2021 until Friday 10 September 2021. However, the Order would remain in force for three months should further works be required.

LONDON BOROUGH OF MERTON ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14(11 (LONDON ROAD(A24) AND LOWER MORDEN LANE. MORDEN) (TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2021
1. The London Borough of Merton Council, with the agreement of Transport for London, hereby give notice that because of the likelihood of danger to the public, they intend to make an Order, the effect of which, on Saturday 4th and Sunday 5th September 2021, would be to temporarily prohibit any person from causing or permitting any vehicle to wait, including for the purpose of loading or unloading any vehicle, in:-

(a) London Road(A24), the west side, between its junction with Goodwood Close and its junction with Crown Road;

(b) Lower Morden Lane, the north side, between its junction with London Road and its junction with Hillcross Avenue.

2. The restrictions would apply only during such times and to such extent as would from time to time be indicated by traffic signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

3. Any designated parking place situated in the lengths of road specified in paragraph 1 above would be suspended.

4. Any vehicle in contravention of any waiting restrictions imposed by the Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and the Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.

5. Nothing in the Order would apply: -

(a) to anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or a police community support officer in uniform; or

(b) to any vehicle being used for police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes, subject to site conditions at the time of any emergency.

6. The Order would come into force on Saturday 4th September 2021 and remain in force for 2 days only.

LONDON BOROUGH OF MERTON ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14(1) (RIDGWAY PLACE. SW19)
(TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2021
1. The Council of the London Borough of Merton hereby give notice that to facilitate sewer connection and ancillary works in Ridgway Place, SW19, they intend to make an Order, the effect of which would be to temporarily restrict pedestrian and vehicular traffic in the said road.

2. During the works no person would:-

(a) cause or permit any vehicle to enter or proceed in Ridgway Place, SW19, between the common boundary of Nos. 14 and 16 Ridgway Place and a point 15 metres north-west of the common boundary of Nos. 18 and 20 Ridgway Place; or

(b) cause or permit any vehicle to wait, including for the purpose of loading or unloading any vehicle, in the length of Ridgway Place specified in sub-paragraph (a) above; or

(c) proceed on foot in the footway immediately adjacent No. 18 Ridgway Place.

3. Any designated parking place situated in the length of Ridgway Place specified in paragraph 2 above would be suspended for the duration of the works in that length of road.

4. The restrictions would only apply during such times and to such extent as would from time to time be indicated by traffic signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

5. Nothing in the Order would apply to: -

(a) any person or vehicle engaged in the execution of the said works; or

(b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform, a police community support officer in uniform; or

(c) any vehicle being used for police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes; or

(d) any person requiring access to properties adjacent to the prohibited length of road, insofar as access is reasonably practicable without interference with the said works.

6. Vehicular traffic affected by the road closure should proceed via Ridgway, Murray Road, Spencer Hill and Worple Road or vice-versa.

7. Pedestrian traffic affected by the footway closure should proceed using the footway opposite.

8. Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction imposed by the Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.

9. The Order would come into operation on Monday 20th September 2021 and it is anticipated that the works would be completed by 1 st October 2021. However, the Order remain in force for 3 months should further works be required.

LONDON BOROUGH OF MERTON ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14(1)
(VARIOUS ROADS) (NO. 4) (TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2021
1. The London Borough of Merton Council hereby give notice that to facilitate a programme of carriageway resurfacing and general maintenance works to be undertaken in the roads specified in column 1 of the Schedule to this notice, they intend to make an Order, the effect of which, during the works, would be to temporarily prohibit vehicular traffic from entering, proceeding or waiting, including in any parking places, in those roads or lengths of roads specified in column 1 of the Schedule to this notice.
2. Any designated parking place situated in any of the roads or lengths of roads specified in column 1 of the Schedule to this notice would be suspended for the duration of the works in those roads or lengths of roads.

3. During the works in:-

(a) Commonside East, the point closures in Abbotts Road, Castleton Road, New Barns Avenue and Beech Grove would be suspended and the roads opened to vehicular traffic;

(b) St George's Road, the point closures in St George's Road and Tamworth Park would be suspended and the roads opened to vehicular traffic.

4. The restrictions and suspensions would apply only during such times and to such extent as would from time to time be indicated by traffic signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

5. Alternative routes for diverted traffic would be indicated by advance warning and diversion signs on the roads affected when the works are in progress but would likely be those diversion routes specified in column 2 of the Schedule to this notice.

6. Any vehicle that is in contravention of any waiting restrictions imposed by the Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.

7. Nothing in the Order would apply to: -

(a) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works; or

(b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police officer in uniform or a police community support officer in uniform; or

(c) emergency service vehicles, subject to site conditions at the time of any emergency; or

(d) any person requiring vehicular access to properties adjacent to the prohibited roads or lengths of roads insofar as access is reasonably practicable without interference with the said works.

8. The Order would come into force on Friday 3rd September 2021 and the anticipated works dates are specified in column 3 of the Schedule to this notice. However, the Order would remain in operation for a maximum period of 12 months and its provisions would be re-introduced should further works be required.

CRAVEN GARDENS, SW19, between Queens Road and Anchorage Close
ST GEORGE'S ROAD, MITCHAM, for its entire length
Tuesday 7th September 2021 between the hours of 8am and 6pm
Monday 6th September 2021 between the hours of 8am and 6pm
No diversion is required as St George's Road is a cul-de-sac. However, the road closures in St George's Road and Tamworth Park would be opened to facilitate access for residents.
