DISABLED PERSONS PARKING PLACES - SCHEDULE 217a
The Croydon (Prohibition and Restriction of Stopping, Loading and Waiting) and (Free Parking Places) (Amendment No.V26) Order 20-The Croydon (On-Street Charged-For Parking Places) (Amendment No.V27) Order 20-

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Croydon Council proposes to make the above Traffic Orders under section 6 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended and all other enabling powers.
1. The general effect of the Orders would be:-

(a) To designate a new parking place at which vehicles displaying a disabled persons' badge may be left without charge or time limit in the following location.

Whitgift Street, Croydon Outside No.4 Whitgift Street
Selhurst Place, Croydon
Outside No.20 to No.42 Selhurst Place

(b) To amend the map-based tiles to the Schedule attached to the above Orders so as to accurately represent the new parking arrangements as they exist on site.

2. A copy of the proposed Orders and of all related Orders, of the Council's statement of reasons for proposing to make the Orders and of the plans which indicate each length of road to which the Orders relate, can be inspected between 9am and 4pm on Mondays to Fridays inclusive until the last day of a period of six weeks beginning with the date on which the Orders are made or, as the case may be, the Council decides not to make the Orders, at the Enquiry Counter, 'Access Croydon' Facility, Bernard Weatherill House, 8 Mint Walk, Croydon, CRO 1EA. 3. Persons desiring to object to the proposed Orders should send a statement in writing of their objection and the grounds thereof to the, Parking Design section, Place Department, 6'" Floor, Zone C, Bernard Weatherill House, 8 Mint Walk, Croydon, CRO 1 EA or by emailing Parking.Design@croydon.gov.uk quoting the reference: PD/PT/V26 & V27 by 09 September 2021.

The Croydon (Prohibition and Restriction of Stopping, Loading and Waiting) and (Free Parking Places) (Amendment No. V24) Order 20-The Croydon (On-Street Charged-For Parking Places) (Amendment No.V25) Order 20-

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Croydon Council proposes to make the above Traffic Orders under section 6 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended and all other enabling powers.
1. The general effect of the Orders would be to:
a) Revoke the disabled parking places in the vicinity of No.90 Aveling Close, Purley, No. 1 Herondale, Ashen Vale, South Croydon, No. 17a Northampton Road, Croydon, No. 29 Notson Road, South Norwood, No. 40 Verdayne Avenue, Croydon and No. 34 Whitworth Road, South Norwood.

b)

PUBLIC NOTICE TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1990 SECTION 247

THE LONDON BOROUGH OF CROYDON ACTING IN ITS CAPACITY AS A LOCAL HIGHWAY AUTHORITY hereby gives notice of the proposal to make an Order under section 247 of the above Act to authorise the stopping up part of Hermitage Road, Croydon.
IF THE ORDER IS MADE, the stopping up will be authorised only in order to enable the development described in the schedule to this notice to be carried out in accordance with the planning permission granted under Part III of the Act to Mr. Toby Buckmaster, Mikhail Riches, 15-29 Windsor Street, London N1 8QG on 5 February 2020 planning reference 19/05868/NMA.

DESCRIPTION OF HIGHWAY TO BE STOPPED UP The highway to be stopped up is in the London Borough of Croydon. It is shown shaded red and edged in a broken red line and a broken blue line on drawing reference CSHCRO-1089-001-000-001 measuring approximately 18 square metres of all-purpose highway.

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT. 1984. SECTION 14 AS AMENDED THE ROAD TRAFFIC (TEMPORARY RESTRICTIONS) ACT 1991 AND ALL OTHER ENABLING POWERS
ADDISCOMBE ROAD. CROYDON
TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF VEHICULAR TRAFFIC
1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that to facilitate tram line inspection works, they have made an Order the effect of which would be to temporarily restrict vehicular traffic movements in Addiscombe Road, Croydon.

2.Whilst the said works are taking place, no person shall cause any vehicle to proceed in Addiscombe Road between its junctions with Canning Road and Chepstow Road.

3.Whilst the closure remains in force the alternative route for diverted traffic will be via Chepstow Road, Park Hill Rise and Park Hill Road as appropriately signed.

4. The Order will come into operation on the 18 September 2021 and it is anticipated that the works will be carried out in 2 days. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further works be required.

CROYDON COUNCIL
ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT. 1984. SECTION 14 AS AMENDED THE ROAD TRAFFIC (TEMPORARY RESTRICTIONS) ACT 1991 AND ALL OTHER ENABLING POWERS

DOWNS COURT ROAD. PURLEY
TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF PARKING
1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that to facilitate ducting works on behalf of BT, they have made an Order the effect of which would be to temporarily prohibit parking in Downs Court Road.

2. Whilst the said works are taking place parking will be suspended and waiting and loading restrictions will apply at any time outside No. 57 Downs Court Road.

3. The Order will come into operation on 27 August 2021 and it is anticipated that the works will be completed within six days. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further works be required. The prohibitions will only apply during such times and to such extent as shall from time to time be indicated by traffic signs.

4. These restrictions shall not apply in respect of:

(a) any vehicle involved in carrying out the said works;

(b) any vehicle being used for fire brigade, ambulance or police purposes;

(c) anything done with the permission of a police constable in uniform or a Civil Enforcement Officer.

CROYDON COUNCIL
ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984, SECTION 14, AS AMENDED TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF VEHICULAR OR PEDESTRIAN ACCESS AND TEMPORARY PARKING RESTRICTIONS

1. Croydon Council, HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that to facilitate essential highway maintenance works that may take place within the London Borough of Croydon, they have amended The Croydon (Highways Maintenance Works) (Temporary Prohibition of Vehicular and Pedestrian Traffic and Parking Order) 2021, the effect of which would be to allow the following measures to be introduced, providing that the relevant permissions have been granted by the Council, in any street listed in the Schedule to this Notice for which Croydon Council are the highway authority:

(a) temporarily introduce one-way traffic for the duration of the works in those streets or lengths of streets;

(b) temporarily close to vehicular traffic those streets or lengths of streets;

(c) temporarily close any adjoining streets to vehicular traffic where this is considered necessary to facilitate the work in progress;

(d) temporarily introduce banned turns, footway closures or waiting and loading restrictions at any time should this be required; and

(e) temporarily suspend bus lanes/stops, cycle lanes, parking bays or any other traffic restriction as required where this is considered necessary to facilitate the work in progress.

2. Wherever the work happens to be in progress, no person may cause or permit any vehicle to:-

(a) proceed in a direction other than that indicated by a traffic sign, or

(b) proceed in any street or length of street which may at the time be subject to a road closure until the completion of the work allows.

3. Whilst the provisions of the amended Order remain in force, waiting or loading by vehicles would be prohibited at any time in those streets or lengths of streets specified where work is in progress. Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction on waiting imposed by this Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.

4. All works requiring a road closure will be advertised complete with any diversion route on our website at the address below. www.croydon.gov.uk/transportandstreets/rhps/roads/road-closures/notices

5. Frontages affected by the above restrictions will receive notification letters approximately two weeks before any works commence.

6. The amended Order will come into operation on the 27 August 2021 and will remain in force until 30 October 2022, 18 months from the operational date of the original Order.

(Note: The provisions of the Order will only apply during such times and to such extent as shall from time to time be indicated by traffic signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016. (Access for frontagers would be maintained whilst the work proceeds).
