CROYDON COUNCIL PROPOSED INTRODUCTION OF WAITING RESTRICTIONS IN VARIOUS LOCATIONS IN CROYDON
The Croydon (Prohibition and Restriction of Stopping, Loading and Waiting) and (Free Parking Places) (No. 5) Order 2021 The Croydon (On-Street Charged-For Parking Places) (No.5) Order 2021

1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Croydon Council, on 17 May 2021 made the above Traffic Orders under the relevant sections of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, and all other enabling powers.

2. The general effect of the Orders will be:

a) To introduce "at any time" double yellow line waiting restrictions in the lengths of streets specified in Schedule 1 to this Notice.

b) To update the map-based tiles to the Schedule attached to the above Orders so as to accurately represent the new arrangements as they exist on site.

3. Copies of the Orders, which will come into operation on 24 May 2021, and of all associated Orders can be inspected by appointment from 9am to 4pm on Mondays to Fridays inclusive until the end of six weeks from the date on which the Orders were made, at the "Access Croydon" Facility, 8 Mint Walk, Croydon, CR0 1EA.

4. Alternatively, copies of the Orders can be requested via email or post from the Parking Design Team. Email: parking.design@croydon.gov.uk . Postal address: Parking Design Team, 6th Floor, Zone C, Bernard Weatherill House, 8 Mint Walk, Croydon CR0 1EA.

5. Any person desiring to question the validity of the Orders or of any provision contained therein on the ground that it is not within the relevant powers of the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984 or that any of the relevant requirements thereof or of any relevant regulations made there under have not been complied with in relation to the Orders may, within six weeks of the date on which the Orders were made, make application for the purpose to the High Court.

SCHEDULE 1
(Introducing double yellow line waiting restrictions "at any time")
Ashen Vale, South Croydon
The south-west side, extending the existing double yellow lines at the junction with Selsdon Park Road by 10 metres. Charnwood Road, South Norwood
The east side, extending the existing double yellow lines at the junction with Farnley Road by 10 metres.
Copse Hill, Purley
Both sides between its junction with Smitham Downs Road and a point 10 metres north-east of that junction.
Court Wood Lane, South Croydon, The north-west side
- from its junction with Featherbed Lane to a point 10 metres south-west of
the south-western kerb-line of The Green. The south-east side
- from its junction with Featherbed Lane to a point 10 metres south-west of the south-western kerb-line of Osward (Nos. 1-19).
- Either side of its junction with Osward (Nos. 23-59) for a distance of 5 metres.
- Either side of its junction with Osward (Nos. 41-51 and 60-77) for a distance of 10 metres.
- Either side of its junction with Osward (Nos. 78-87) for a distance of 7 metres.
- Either side of its junction with Osward (Nos. 128-234) for a distance of 10 metres.
- Either side of its junction with Osward (Nos. 210-293) for a distance of 10 metres.
Elgar Avenue, Norbury
Both sides between its junction with Norbury Court Road and a point 10 metres south-east of that junction.
Featherbed Lane, South Croydon
The south-west side, from a point 10 metres south-east of the south-eastern kerb-line of Court Wood Lane to a point 6 metres north-west of the north­western kerb-line of Court Wood Lane.
Goodwin Road, South Croydon
The east side, from a point 20 metres north of the north-western kerb-line of Violet Lane to a point 15 metres south of the south-eastern kerb-line of Violet Lane.
Holmesdale Road, Selhurst
Both sides, extending the existing double yellow lines at the junction with Clifton Road by 10 metres south-westwards. Kingswood Avenue, South Croydon
Both sides, converting the existing single yellow lines at the junction with Limpsfield Road to double yellow lines.

The south-west side
- From the south-eastern kerb-line of St Helen's Crescent for a distance of 10 metres south-eastwards.
- From the south-eastern kerb-line of St Helen's Road for a distance of 10 metres south-eastwards.
Norbury Rise, Norbury
Both sides between its junction with Norbury Court Road and a point 10
metres south-east of that junction.
Osward, Court Wood Lane, South Croydon, Nos. 1-19
- The north-east side, between its junction with Court Wood Lane and a point 3 metres north-west of the common boundary of Nos. 1 and 2 Osward.
- The south-west side, between its junction with Court Wood Lane and a point opposite the common boundary of Nos. 1 and 2 Osward.

Both sides between its junction with Court Wood Lane and a point 5 metres south-east of that junction.

Both sides between its junction with Court Wood Lane and a point 10 metres south-east of that junction.

Converting the existing single yellow lines throughout the close to double yellow lines.
Palmers Road, Norbury
Both sides, between its junction with Tylecroft Road and a point 7 metres south-east of that junction
Pixton Way, Croydon
The north-west side, the access road to Forestdale Primary School, converting the existing single yellow lines at the entrance to Forestdale Primary School, around the island site adjacent to that entrance and at the junctions with the Pixton Way access road and Pixton Way to double yellow lines.
Pollards Wood Road, Norbury
Both sides between its junction with Norbury Court Road and a point 10 metres south-east of that junction. Smithamdowns Road, Purley
- The north-east side, either side of its junction with Copse Hill for a distance of 10 metres.
- The south-west side, either side of its junction with The Horseshoe for a distance of 10 metres.
St Helen's Road, Norbury
The south-east side, from the south-western kerb-line of Norbury Crescent for a distance of 10 metres south-westwards.

The Croydon (Prohibition and Restriction of Stopping, Loading and Waiting) and (Free Parking Places) (No.3) Order 2021 The Croydon (On-Street Charged-For Parking Places) (No.3) Order 2021
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Croydon Council on 17 May 2021 made the above Traffic Orders under section 6 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended and all other enabling powers.
1. The general effect of the Orders will be to:
a) Revoke the disabled parking places In the vicinity of 7 Borough Hill, Croydon, 82 Burlington Road, Thornton Heath, 143 Bynes Road, South Croydon, 108 Grange Road, South Croydon, 61 Quadrant Road, Thornton Heath, and 30 Torridge Road, Thornton Heath.

b) Designate new parking places at which vehicles displaying a disabled persons' badge may be left without charge or time limit in the following locations.

DISABLED PERSONS PARKING PLACES - SCHEDULE 214
The Croydon (Prohibition and Restriction of Stopping, Loading and Waiting) and (Free Parking Places) (Amendment N0.V8) Order 20-The Croydon (On-Street Charged-For Parking Places) (Amendment No.V9) Order 20-

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Croydon Council proposes to make the above Traffic Orders under section 6 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended and all other enabling powers.
1. The general effect of the Orders would be to:
a) Revoke the disabled parking places in the vicinity of No.24B Abbey Road, South Croydon, No.53 Beulah Road, Thornton Heath, No.13 Benett Gardens, Norbury, No.65 Christian Fields, Norbury, No.102 Headcorn Road, Thornton Heath, No.18 Holmewood Road, South Norwood, No.33 Holmewood Road, South Norwood, No.40 Park Road, South Norwood, No.47 Redford Avenue, Thornton Heath, No.113 Tedder Road, South Croydon, No.133 Westleigh Avenue, Coulsdon, No.44 Westleigh Avenue, Coulsdon.

b) Designate new parking places at which vehicles displaying a disabled persons' badge may be left without charge or time limit in the following locations.

A copy of the proposed Orders and of all related Orders, of the Council's statement of reasons for proposing to make the Orders and of the plans which indicate each length of road to which the Orders relate, can be inspected between 9am and 4pm on Mondays to Fridays inclusive until the last day of a period of six weeks beginning with the date on which the Orders are made or, as the case may be, the Council decides not to make the Orders, at the Enquiry Counter, 'Access Croydon' Facility, Bernard Weatherill House, 8 Mint Walk, Croydon, CR0 1EA. 4. Persons desiring to object to the proposed Orders should send a statement in writing of their objection and the grounds thereof to the, Parking Design section, Place Department, 6th Floor, Zone C, Bernard Weatherill House, 8 Mint Walk, Croydon, CRO 1 EA or by emailing Parking.Design@croydon.gov.uk quoting the reference: PD/PT/V8 & V9 by 10th June 2021.
