Notice is hereby given that Sutton Council has received an application from the 'Belmont and South Cheam Neighbourhood Forum, in accordance with Part 2 and 3 of the Neighbourhood Planning (General) Regulations 2012 (as amended), for re-designation of the group as a 'neighbourhood forum'. The Council is seeking views on both these applications from 29th April 2021 to 11th June 2021.
In 2016 the Council designated the Belmont and South Cheam neighbourhood area and neighbourhood forum for the purposes of preparing a neighbourhood plan. In accordance with the regulations, the neighbourhood forum designation has a 5-year life span and, as such, is required to be redesignated. Representations should consider whether the neighbourhood forum is appropriate to be re-designated. A copy of the re-designation application is available to view on Sutton's website at
neighbourhoodplanning along with additional information. In addition hard copies are available for inspection at the below locations:
