THE LONDON BOROUGH OF CROYDON ACTING IN ITS CAPACITY AS A LOCAL HIGHWAY AUTHORITY hereby gives notice of the proposal to make an Order under section 247 of the above Act to authorise the stopping up part of Stoats Nest Road.

IF THE ORDER IS MADE, the stopping up will be authorised only in order to enable the development described in the schedule to this notice to be carried out in accordance with the planning permission granted under Part III of the Act to Mr. Nathen Harding, 28 Inwood Avenue, Coulsdon CR5 1LN on 5 October 2020 planning reference 19/00126/FUL.

COPIES OF THE DRAFT ORDER AND RELEVANT PLANS are

available for inspection at all reasonable hours at the Council's Access Croydon Reception Desk, Ground Floor, Bernard Weatherill House, 8 Mint Walk, Croydon, CRO 1EA in the 28 days commencing Thursday 17 December 2020 or may be obtained, free of charge, from the London Borough of Croydon (quoting reference LBC/SU/STOAT NEST ROAD/001) at the postal and email addresses stated below.

ANY PERSON MAY OBJECT to the making of the proposed order. THE SCHEDULE

DESCRIPTION OF DEVELOPMENT

Erection of 2 storey detached dwelling house with new vehicular access off Coulsdon Road and parking area with turntable at land at junction between Hartley Down and Coulsdon Road Coulsdon.

DESCRIPTION OF HIGHWAY TO BE STOPPED UP

The highway to be stopped up is in the London Borough of Croydon, is an irregular section of highway shown line hatched in black on drawing reference LBC/SU/STOATS NEST ROAD/001 and is a section of grass verge highway located on the eastern footway of Stoats Nest Road approximately opposite No 2.

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT, 1984, SECTION 14 AS AMENDED

THE ROAD TRAFFIC (TEMPORARY RESTRICTIONS) ACT 1991 AND ALL OTHER ENABLING POWERS NORBURY HILL, NORBURY TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC

1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that to facilitate water main repair works, they have made an Order the effect of which would be to temporarily prohibit traffic movements in Norbury Hill, Norbury.



2. Whilst the said works are taking place Norbury Hill will be closed outside No. 54 Norbury Hill.



3. During the works the diversion route for traffic will be via Covington Way, Croft Road, Green Lane and Christian Fields, and vice versa.



4. The Order will come into operation on 04 January 2021 and it is anticipated that the works will be completed within three days. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further works be required. The prohibitions will only apply during such times and to such extent as shall from time to time be indicated by traffic signs.



5. These restrictions shall not apply in respect of:



(a) any vehicle involved in carrying out the said works;



(b) any vehicle being used for fire brigade, ambulance or police purposes;



(c) anything done with the permission of a police constable in uniform or a Civil Enforcement Officer.

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT, 1984, SECTION 14 AS AMENDED BY SECTION 4 (7) OF SCHEDULE 5 TO

THE LOCAL GOVERNMENT ACT 1985

AND THE ROAD TRAFFIC (TEMPORARY RESTRICTIONS) ACT 1991 PRINCESS ROAD, CROYDON TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF VEHICULAR TRAFFIC & PARKING

1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that to facilitate works to a leaking water main valve, they have made an Order the effect of which will be to temporarily restrict vehicular traffic and parking in Princess Road.



2. Whilst the said works are taking place:-



a) No person shall cause any vehicle to proceed in Princess Road at its junction with Whitehorse Road.



b) Parking bays will be suspended and waiting and loading restrictions will apply "at any time" in the following locations outside and opposite Meadowbridge Court, Princess Road:-



(i) The north side, from a point 13 metres west of its junction with Whitehorse Road, for a distance of 33 metres westwards;



(ii) The south side from a point 14 metres west of its junction with Whitehorse Road, for a distance of 5 metres westwards.



3. The restrictions shall not apply in respect of:



(a) any vehicle involved in carrying out the said works;



(b) any vehicle being used for fire brigade, ambulance or police purposes;



(c) anything done with the permission of a police constable in uniform or a Civil Enforcement Officer.



4. Whilst the closure is in force the diversion routes for traffic will be via Whitehorse Road, Boulogne Road and Princess Road and vice versa, or via Whitehorse Road, Pawsons Road and Mayo Road and vice versa.



5. The Order will come into operation on 18 December 2020 and it is anticipated that the works will be carried out within approximately two days. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be re-introduced should further works be required.

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT, 1984, SECTION 14 AS AMENDED THE ROAD TRAFFIC (TEMPORARY RESTRICTIONS) ACT 1991 AND ALL OTHER ENABLING POWERS TEEVAN ROAD AND SISSINGHURST ROAD, CROYDON TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF VEHICULAR TRAFFIC

1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that to facilitate sewer repair works, they have made an Order the effect of which would be to temporarily prohibit vehicular traffic movements and parking in Teevan Road and Sissinghurst Road, Croydon.



2. Whilst the said works are taking place;



a) no person shall cause any vehicle to proceed in Teevan Road at its junction with Blackhorse Lane;



b) no person shall cause a vehicle to proceed in Sissinghurst Road at its junction with Blackhorse Lane;



c) parking in the vicinity will be suspended and waiting and loading restrictions operating "at any time" will be applied as necessary to facilitate the works.



3. Whilst the closure remains in force the alternative route for diverted traffic will be via local streets as appropriately signed.



4. The Order will come into operation on 28 December 2020 and the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further works be required. The prohibitions will only apply during such times and to such extent as shall from time to time be indicated by traffic signs.

TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF VEHICULAR TRAFFIC

1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that to facilitate a new water service connection, they intend to make an Order the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit vehicular traffic movements in Cliffe Road.

2. Whilst the said works are taking place, no person shall cause any vehicle to proceed in Cliffe Road at its junction with Selsdon Road.



3. The Order will come into operation on 11 January 2021 and it is anticipated that the works will be carried out in 4 days. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further works be required.



4. The Prohibitions will only apply during such times and to such extent as shall from time to time be indicated by traffic signs.

LION GREEN ROAD, COULSDON TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF TRAFFIC

1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate electrical connection works, they intend to make an Order the effect of which would be to temporarily restrict traffic in Lion Green Road, Coulsdon.



2. Whilst the said works are taking place Lion Green Road will be closed north-westbound between its junctions with Brighton Road and Chipstead Valley Road.



3. Whilst the restriction is in place the diversion route for traffic will be via Farthing Way, Brighton Road, Banstead Road, Foxley Lane, Smitham Bottom Lane and Woodcote Grove Road, as appropriately signed.



4. The Order will come into operation on 10 January 2021 and it is anticipated that the works will be carried out within approximately one day. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further works be required.



5. These restrictions shall not apply in respect of:



(a) any vehicle involved in carrying out the said works;



(b) any vehicle being used for fire brigade, ambulance or police purposes;



(c) anything done with the permission of a police constable in uniform or a Civil Enforcement Officer.

AND ALL OTHER ENABLING POWERS PLOUGH LANE, PURLEY TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC

1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that to facilitate new water service connection works, they intend to make an Order the effect of which would be to temporarily prohibit traffic in Plough Lane, Purley.



2. Whilst the said works are taking place, no person shall cause any vehicle to proceed in Plough Lane between the common boundary of Nos. 2 and 4 Plough Lane and its junction with Foxley Lane.



3. During the closure the diversion route will be Foxley Lane, Purley Way, Stafford Road, Sandy Lane South, Forester's Drive and Plough Lane and vice versa, or via Foxley Lane, Woodcote Road, Stafford Road, Sandy Lane South, Forester's Drive and Plough Lane and vice versa, as appropriately signed.



4. The Order will come into operation on 09 January 2021 and it is anticipated that the works will be carried out over two weekends (09 and 10 January and 16 and 17 January 2021). However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further works be required. The prohibitions will only apply during such times and to such extent as shall from time to time be indicated by traffic signs.



5. These restrictions shall not apply in respect of:



(a) any vehicle involved in carrying out the said works;



(b) any vehicle being used for fire brigade, ambulance or police purposes;



(c) anything done with the permission of a police constable in uniform or a Civil Enforcement Officer.
