NEW ADDINGTON COMMUNITY CENTRE & NEW ADDINGTON LEISURE CENTRE CAR PARKS - AMENDMENT TO OPERATIONAL HOURS & DAYS & INTRODUCTION OF LIMITED FREE PARKING FOR LEISURE CENTRE USERS The Croydon (Off Street Parking Places) (No.3) Traffic Order 2020

1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Croydon Council on 02 November 2020 made the above Traffic Order under Sections 32, 35, 124 of, and Parts I to IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984 as amended and all other enabling powers.

2. The general effect of the Order will be:

(a) to change the operational days of New Addington Community Centre Car Park (currently operational on Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays only, from 7am to 6pm) so that it is open to pay and display users Monday to Saturday inclusive from 7am to 6pm. The existing parking charges would remain (as shown below);

(b) to change the operational hours of the New Addington Leisure Centre car park (currently operational from 9am to 5pm, Monday to Saturday) so that it is open from 7am to 6pm, Monday to Saturday. The existing parking charges would remain (as shown below);

(c) to introduce a maximum of three hours free parking for leisure centre users within the New Addington Leisure Centre Car Park. Users will need to input their registration numbers at reception and this information would be available to the Civil Enforcement Officers patrolling the car park.

2020, can be inspected from 9am to 4pm, on Mondays to Fridays inclusive until the end of six weeks from the date on which the Order was made, at the Enquiry Counter, "Access Croydon' Facility, Bernard Weatherill House, 8 Mint Walk, Croydon, CR0 1EA.

5. 1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Croydon Council on 02 November 2020 made the above Traffic Order under Sections 32, 35, 124 of, and Parts I to IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984 as amended and all other enabling powers.

2. The general effect of the Order will be:
(a) To designate the area described in the Schedule to this Notice as a pay-by-phone only 24 hour off-street public car park, with charges as detailed below;

SOUTH NORWOOD LEISURE CENTRE DISABLED PERSONS' CAR PARK AMENDMENT TO PARKING PROVISION The Croydon (Off Street Parking Places) (No.4) Traffic Order 2020

1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Croydon Council on 02 November 2020 made the above Traffic Order under Sections 32, 35, 124 of, and Parts I to IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984 as amended and all other enabling powers.

2. The general effect of the Order will be:

(a) to remove the existing parent and toddler parking bays from the South Norwood Leisure Centre Disabled Persons' Car Park;

(b) to divide the parking spaces within that car park between disabled Blue Badge holders' bays and bays designated for those vehicles with a South Norwood Leisure Centre staff permit.

3. Copies of the Order, which will come into operation on 09 November 2020, can be inspected from 9am to 4pm, on Mondays to Fridays inclusive until the end of six weeks from the date on which the Order was made, at the Enquiry Counter, "Access Croydon" Facility, Bernard Weatherill House, 8 Mint Walk, Croydon, CR0 1EA.

The Croydon (Prohibition and Restriction of Stopping, Loading and Waiting)
and (Free Parking Places) (No. 19) Order 2020 The Croydon (On-Street Charged-For Parking Places) (No.20) Order 2020

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Croydon Council on 02 November 2020 made the above Traffic Orders under section 6 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended and all other enabling powers.
1. The general effect of the Orders will be:-
(a) To designate a new parking place at which vehicles displaying a disabled persons' badge may be left without charge or time limit in the following location.
Fairlands Avenue, Thornton Heath - Outside No. 101 and partially across the frontage of No. 99
(b) To amend the map-based tiles to the Schedule attached to the
above Orders so as to accurately represent the new parking
arrangements as they exist on site.

CROYDON COUNCIL ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT. 1984. SECTION 14 AS AMENDED AND THE ROAD TRAFFIC (TEMPORARY RESTRICTIONS)
ACT 1991
BENSHAM GROVE. THORNTON HEATH TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF PARKING

1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate gas main connection works by SGN, they intend to have made an Order to the effect of which would be to temporarily restrict parking in Bensham Grove, Thornton Heath.

2. Whilst the said works are taking place parking in Bensham Grove will be suspended and waiting and loading restrictions will apply at any time:-
- On the north-east side outside Nos. 30 to 40 Bensham Grove; and
- On the south-west side outside Nos. 47 to 59 Bensham Grove.

3. The Order will come into operation on 09 November 2020 and it is anticipated that the works will be carried out within ten days between 8am and 4pm. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further works be required.

4. These restrictions shall not apply in respect of:

(a) any vehicle involved in carrying out the said works;

(b) any vehicle being used for fire brigade, ambulance or police purposes;

(c) anything done with the permission of a police constable in uniform or a Civil Enforcement Officer.

CROYDON COUNCIL ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT. 1984. SECTION 14 AS AMENDED AND THE ROAD TRAFFIC (TEMPORARY RESTRICTIONS) ACT 1991 BOULOGNE ROAD. CROYDON TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF TRAFFIC & PARKING

1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate telecoms works, they have made an Order the effect of which would be to temporarily restrict traffic and parking in Boulogne Road.

2. Whilst the said works are taking place:
a) Boulogne Road will be closed between its junction with Whitehorse Road and the south-eastern wall of the Legacy Youth Zone, No. 125 Whitehorse Road;
b) The north-eastern footway of Boulogne Road will be closed between its junction with Whitehorse Road and a point opposite the south­eastern wall of the Legacy Youth Zone, No. 125 Whitehorse Road;
c) Parking in Boulogne Road will be suspended and waiting and loading restrictions will apply "at any time" on both sides between its junction with Whitehorse Road and a point 25 metres north-west of that junction.

3. Whilst the works are taking place, the alternative routes for vehicles will be:-
a) Northbound diversion on Princess Road: Via Princess Road and Whitehorse Road and vice versa.
b) Southbound diversion on Whitehorse Road: Via Whitehorse Road, Windmill Road, Queens Road, Princess Road and vice versa.

4. The alternative route for pedestrian traffic will be via a walkway in the carriageway.

5. The Order will come into operation on 09 November 2020 and it is anticipated that the works will be carried out within one day. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further works be required.

6. These restrictions shall not apply in respect of:
(a) any vehicle involved in carrying out the said works;
(b) any vehicle being used for fire brigade, ambulance or police purposes;
(c) anything done with the permission of a police constable in uniform or a Civil Enforcement Officer.

CROYDON COUNCIL ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT. 1984. SECTION 14 AS AMENDED AND THE ROAD TRAFFIC (TEMPORARY RESTRICTIONS) ACT 1991 LOW TRAFFIC INITIATIVES TEMPORARY WAITING RESTRICTIONS - DERBY ROAD AND PARSON'S MEAD. CROYDON
1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that due to the likelihood of danger to the public during the current Covid-19 pandemic, they have made an Order for purposes connected to the coronavirus, which are to prevent obstruction and facilitate a turning area for vehicles adjacent to a road closure installed to give residents more space to walk and cycle, help improve fitness and address problems caused by excess traffic.

2. Whilst the restrictions remain in force the effect of the Order will be to prohibit waiting by vehicles at any time on the north-east side of Derby Road, from a point 1.5 metres north-west of the north-western flank wall of No. 8 Derby Road to a point 0.5 metres north-west of a point opposite the south-eastern boundary of No. 2 Parson's Mead.

3. The Order will come into operation on 06 November 2020 and will remain in force for a maximum duration of 18 months.

4. These restrictions shall not apply in respect of:
(a) a vehicle being used for fire brigade, ambulance or police purposes;
(b) anything done with the permission of a police constable in uniform or a civil enforcement officer;
(c) a vehicle being used for the purposes of a statutory undertaker in an emergency, such as the loss of supplies of gas, electricity or water to premises in the area, which necessitates the bringing of vehicles into a section of road to which the order applies;

CROYDON COUNCIL ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT. 1984 SECTION 14. AS AMENDED THE ROAD TRAFFIC (TEMPORARY RESTRICTIONS) ACT 1991 TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC SMITHAM DOWNS ROAD. PURLEY

1. Croydon Council, HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that to facilitate cable installation works on behalf of UKPN they have made an Order the effect of which would be to temporarily restrict traffic in Smitham Downs Road.

2. Whilst the said works are taking place Smitham Downs Road will be closed at its junction with Brighton Road.

3. During the closure the diversion route for traffic will be via Woodcote Grove Road, A237, Farthing Way and Brighton Road and vice versa, as appropriately signed.

4. The Order will come into operation on the 07 November 2020 and it is anticipated that the works will be completed within two days. However, the Order will remain in force for a maximum duration of 18 months to be reintroduced should further work be required. The prohibition will only apply during such times and to such extent as shall from time to time be indicated by traffic signs.

5. These restrictions shall not apply in respect of:
(a) A vehicle involved in the said works;
(b) A vehicle being used for fire brigade, ambulance or police purposes;
(c) Anything done with the permission of a police constable in uniform or a Civil Enforcement Officer.

1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that to facilitate works to install stiffeners to the railway bridge they have made an Order the effect of which would be to temporarily restrict vehicular traffic movements and parking in Stoats Nest Road.

2. Whilst the said works are taking place no person shall cause any vehicle to proceed in Stoats Nest Road between the railway bridge and its junction with Windermere Road.
