CROYDON COUNCIL ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT. 1984. SECTION 14 AS AMENDED AND THE ROAD TRAFFIC (TEMPORARY RESTRICTIONS) ACT 1991
BALLARDS RISE. SOUTH CROYDON TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF PARKING
1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate building development works they have made an Order the effect of which would be to temporarily restrict parking in Ballards Rise.

2. Whilst the Order is in force waiting by vehicles will be prohibited "at any time" along the entire length of Ballards Rise (on both sides -so much as is public highway).

3. The Order will come into operation on 14 September 2020 and will remain in force for 18 months.

4. These restrictions shall not apply in respect of:

(a) any vehicle being used for fire brigade, ambulance or police purposes;

(b) anything done with the permission of a police constable in uniform or a Civil Enforcement Officer.

CUTHBERT GARDENS. SOUTH NORWOOD NOTICE OF TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF TRAFFIC
1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate works by UKPN to install a new electrical connection they have made an Order the effect of which would be to temporarily restrict traffic in Cuthbert Gardens.

2. Whilst the said works are taking place Cuthbert Gardens will be closed between the north-western boundary of No. 11 Cuthbert Gardens and the cul-de-sac at the south-western extremity of the road.

3. The Order will come into operation on 14 September 2020 and it is anticipated that the works will be carried out within approximately five days. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further works be required.

4. The restriction shall not apply in respect of:

(a) any vehicle involved in carrying out the said works;

(b) any vehicle being used for fire brigade, ambulance or police purposes;

(c) anything done with the permission of a police constable in uniform or a Civil Enforcement Officer.

GROVE ROAD. THORNTON HEATH TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF PARKING
1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate deliveries to a new school site, they have made an Order to the effect of which would be to temporarily restrict parking in Grove Road, Thornton Heath.

2. Whilst the Order is in force its effect will be to prohibit waiting at any time on the north-east side of Grove Road from the common boundary of Silchester Court, London Road and Paxton Academy, London Road, north-westwards for a distance of 27.5 metres.

3. The Order will come into operation on 16 September 2020 and will remain in force for a maximum duration of 18 months.

4. These restrictions shall not apply in respect of:

(a) any vehicle in the process of being loaded or unloaded for up to a maximum of 40 minutes;

(b) any vehicle waiting whilst a passenger boards or alights;

(c) any vehicle being used for fire brigade, ambulance or police purposes;

(d) anything done with the permission of a police constable in uniform or a Civil Enforcement Officer.

The Croydon (Prohibition and Restriction of Stopping, Loading and Waiting) and (Free Parking Places) (No. 13) Order 2020 The Croydon (On-Street Charged-For Parking Places) (No.14) Order 2020
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Croydon Council on 07 September 200 made the above Traffic Orders under section 6 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended and all other enabling powers. 1. The general effect of the Orders will be to:
a) Revoke the disabled parking places in the vicinity of 65 Addington Road, West Croydon, 48 Belmont Road, South Norwood, 332 Brigstock Road, Thornton Heath, 79 Dalmeny Avenue, Norbury, 12 Earlswood Avenue, Thornton Heath, 52 Exeter Road Croydon, 100 Gascoigne Road, New Addington, 39 Oaklands Avenue, Thornton Heath, 92 Osward, Court Wood Lane, Croydon, 52 Sunnydene Road, Purley, 1 Thirsk Road, South Norwood, 56 Warminster Road, South Norwood, 93 Woodville Road, Thornton Heath and 95 Woodville Road, Thornton Heath.

b) Designate new parking places at which vehicles displaying a disabled persons' badge may be left without charge or time limit in the following locations.

c) Amend the map-based tiles to the Schedule attached to the above Orders so as to accurately represent the new parking arrangements as they exist on site.
2. Copies of the Orders, which will come into operation on 14 September 2020, and of all associated Orders can be inspected from 9am to 4pm on Mondays to Fridays inclusive until the end of six weeks from the date on which the Orders were made, at the "Access Croydon" Facility, 8 Mint Walk, Croydon, CR0 1EA.

3. Copies of the Orders may be obtained from the Parking Design Team, 6th Floor, Zone C, Bernard Weatherill House, 8 Mint Walk, Croydon CR0 1 EA.


4. Any person desiring to question the validity of the Orders or of any provision contained therein on the ground that it is not within the relevant powers of the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984 or that any of the relevant requirements thereof or of any relevant regulations made there under have not been complied with in relation to the Orders may, within six weeks of the date on which the Orders were made, make application for the purpose to the High Court.
