CROYDON COUNCIL DISABLED PERSONS PARKING PLACES - SCHEDULE 211 The Croydon (Prohibition and Restriction of Stopping, Loading and Waiting) and (Free Parking Places) (Amendment No. K80) Order 20-
The Croydon (On-Street Charged-For Parking Places) (Amendment No.K81) Order 20-
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Croydon Council proposes to make the above Traffic Orders under section 6 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended and all other enabling powers.
1. The general effect of the Orders would be to:
a) Revoke the disabled parking places in the vicinity of No.56 Berne Road, Thornton Heath, No. 4 Buckingham Gardens, Thornton Heath, No. 7 Buckingham Gardens, Thornton Heath, No. 8 Elborough Road, South Norwood, No.56 Estcourt Road, South Norwood, No.3 Norman Road, Thornton Heath, No.3 Pitt Road, Croydon, No.112 Stanford Road, Norbury, No.13 Teevan Road, Croydon, No.92 Tedder Road, South Croydon, No.60 The Ridgeway, Croydon.

b) Designate new parking places at which vehicles displaying a disabled persons' badge may be left without charge or time limit in the following locations.

Davidson Road, South Norwood - Outside No. 558
Elm Park Road, South Norwood - Outside No. 40 and partially across the frontage of No. 38_
Frimley Close, New Addington - Outside No.122 to 144
Grangecliffe Gardens, South Norwood - Outside No.21
Grove Road, Thornton Heath - Outside No. 26 and partially across the frontage of No.28_
Goldwell Road, Thornton Heath - Outside No. 33
Hillside Avenue, Purley - Outside No. 18a and partially across the frontage of No. 18b_
Jesmond Road, Croydon - Outside No. 14
Junction Road, South Croydon - Adjacent to No.63 Brighton Road (replaces one space within a permit/pay & display bay)
Little Roke Avenue, Kenley- Outside No. 7 and partially across the frontage of No.5
Macclesfield Road, South Norwood  - Outside N0.86 and partially across the frontage of No.84
Meadvale Road, Croydon - Outside No. 97 and partially across the frontage of No. 95
Nicola Close, South Croydon - Outside No. 28
Selsdon Park Road, South Croydon - Outside Nos. 199 and 201 and partially across the frontage of Nos.195 and 197 
Tedder Road, South Croydon -
Opposite Nos. 51 to 61

c) Amend the map-based tiles to the Schedule attached to the above Orders so as to accurately represent the new parking arrangements as they exist on site.

A copy of the proposed Orders and of all related Orders, of the Council's statement of reasons for proposing to make the Orders and of the plans which indicate each length of road to which the Orders relate, can be inspected between 9am and 4pm on Mondays to Fridays inclusive until the last day of a period of six weeks beginning with the date on which the Orders are made or, as the case may be, the Council decides not to make the Orders, at the Enquiry Counter, 'Access Croydon' Facility, Bernard Weatherill House, 8 Mint Walk, Croydon, CRO 1EA. Persons desiring to object to the proposed Orders should send a statement in writing of their objection and the grounds thereof to the, Parking Design section, Place Department, 6th Floor, Zone C, Bernard Weatherill House, 8 Mint Walk, Croydon, CRO 1 EA or by emailing Parking.Design@croydon.gov.uk quoting the reference: PD/PT/K80 & K81 by 3rd September 2020.

CROYDON COUNCIL

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT, 1984, SECTION 14 AS AMENDED THE ROAD TRAFFIC (TEMPORARY RESTRICTIONS) ACT 1991 AND ALL OTHER ENABLING POWERS
CHURCH STREET, CROYDON
TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF VEHICULAR TRAFFIC
1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that to facilitate repairs to tram lines and manholes, they have made an Order the effect of which would be to temporarily restrict vehicular traffic movements in Church Street, Croydon.

2. Whilst the said works are taking place, no person shall cause any vehicle to proceed in Church Street at its junction with Frith Road.

3. Whilst the closure remains in force, the alternative route for diverted traffic will be via Drummond Road and Frith Road as appropriately signed.

4. The Order will come into operation on 29 August 2020 and it is anticipated that the works will be carried out in 5 days. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further works be required.

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT, 1984, SECTION 14 AS AMENDED THE ROAD TRAFFIC (TEMPORARY RESTRICTIONS) ACT 1991 AND ALL OTHER ENABLING POWERS
BRIGHTON ROAD, COULSDON
TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF VEHICULAR TRAFFIC
1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that to facilitate water main leak repair works, they have made an Order the effect of which would be to temporarily prohibit vehicular traffic movements in Brighton Road, Coulsdon.

2. Whilst the said works are taking place Brighton Road, Coulsdon, will be closed westbound at its junction with Farthing Way.

3. During the closure the alternative routes for traffic will be via Farthing Way and Brighton Road, or via Smitham Downs Road, Woodcote Grove Road and Brighton Road, as appropriately signed.

4. The Order will come into operation on 17 August 2020 and it is anticipated that the works will be completed over four days. However the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further works be required. The prohibitions will only apply during such times and to such extent as shall from time to time be indicated by traffic signs.

5. These restrictions shall not apply in respect of:

(a) any vehicle involved in carrying out the said works;

(b) any vehicle being used for fire brigade, ambulance or police purposes;

(c) anything done with the permission of a police constable in uniform or a Civil Enforcement Officer.

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT, 1984, SECTION 14 AS AMENDED AND THE ROAD TRAFFIC (TEMPORARY RESTRICTIONS) ACT 1991 NOTICE OF TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF PARKING LOADING BAY - MAYDAY ROAD, THORNTON HEATH
1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that due to the likelihood of danger to the public during the current Covid-19 pandemic, they have made an Order for a purpose connected to the coronavirus, which is to relocate a loading bay in order to facilitate a cycle lane, enabling commuting and exercising whilst maintaining social distancing.

2. Whilst the restrictions remain in force the effect of the Order will be:-

a) That no person shall cause a vehicle to wait in the location specified in the Schedule below unless the vehicle is a goods vehicle which is waiting for a period of no more than 30 minutes whilst goods are being loaded or unloaded from the vehicle or are being delivered or collected from premises adjacent to the vehicle.
b) Once the loading or unloading/delivery or collection is completed the vehicle must then be removed and shall not return to the same location within one hour of departure.

Schedule
(Loading bay operating at any time)

Mayday Road - the south-east (even-numbered) side from a point 2 metres south-west of the north-eastern flank wall of No. 2 Mayday Road south-westwards for a distance of 10 metres.

The Order will come into operation on 14 August 2020 and will remain in force for a maximum duration of 18 months.

4. These restrictions shall not apply in respect of:

(a) a vehicle being used for fire brigade, ambulance or police purposes;

(b) anything done with the permission of a police constable in uniform or a civil enforcement officer;

(c) a vehicle being used for the purposes of a statutory undertaker in an emergency, such as the loss of supplies of gas, electricity or water to premises in the area, which necessitates the bringing of vehicles into a section of road to which the order applies;

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT, 1984, SECTION 14 AS AMENDED AND THE ROAD TRAFFIC (TEMPORARY RESTRICTIONS) ACT 1991 QUAIL GARDENS, SOUTH CROYDON
TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF VEHICULAR PARKING
1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate the installation of utility services, they have made an Order to the effect of which would
be to temporarily restrict vehicular parking in Quail Gardens, South Croydon.
2. Whilst the said works are taking place, temporary waiting and loading restrictions will be introduced 'At any time' outside No.20 to No.30 Quail Gardens.

3. The Order will come into operation on 17 August 2020 and it is anticipated that the works will be carried out in 11 days. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further works be required.

4. The restriction will only apply during such times and to such extent as shall from time to time be indicated by traffic signs.

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT, 1984, SECTION 14 AS AMENDED THE ROAD TRAFFIC (TEMPORARY RESTRICTIONS) ACT 1991
AND ALL OTHER ENABLING POWERS ELGIN ROAD, CROYDON
TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF VEHICULAR TRAFFIC
1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that to facilitate electrical maintenance and repairs, they intend to make an Order the effect of which would be to temporarily restrict vehicular traffic movements in Elgin Road, Croydon.

2. Whilst the said works are taking place, no person shall cause any vehicle to proceed in Elgin Road at its junction with Lower Addiscombe Road.

3. Whilst the closure remains in force the alternative route for diverted traffic will be via Lower Addiscombe Road and Havelock Road as appropriately signed.

4. The Order will come into operation on 28 September 2020 and it is anticipated that the works will be carried out in 5 days. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further works be required.

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT, 1984, SECTION 14 AS AMENDED AND THE ROAD TRAFFIC (TEMPORARY RESTRICTIONS) ACT 1991 NOTICE OF TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF PARKING BAY RELOCATIONS & WAITING RESTRICTIONS -ELMWOOD ROAD, CROYDON
1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate a temporary dropped kerb access into a development site, they intend to make an Order the effect of which would be to temporarily amend parking arrangements in Elmwood Road.

2.
Whilst the Order remains in force its effect will be that:-

a) The solo motorcycle bay outside Dartmouth House, on the north-west side of Elmwood Road, will be moved to a location 1.5 metres south­west of its current position;

b) A 7-metre length of double yellow lines, operating at any time, will be installed on the north-west side of Elmwood Road, outside Dartmouth House, adjacent to the relocated solo motorcycle bay, to protect the new dropped kerb access from obstruction. The existing permit/pay and display parking bay in that location will be removed;

c) An additional 5-metre permit/pay and display parking bay will be located outside No. 11 Elmwood Road, replacing part of the existing single yellow line at that location.

3. The Order will come into operation on 28 August 2020 and will remain in force for a maximum duration of 18 months.

4. These restrictions shall not apply in respect of:

(a) a vehicle being used for fire brigade, ambulance or police purposes;

(b) anything done with the permission of a police constable in uniform or a civil enforcement officer;
