Notice is hereby given that from the date specified below, the Essex County Council has temporarily introduced the following measures under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended (the Act), in the interests of public safety and social distancing as a result of the Covid-19 pandemic.

20mph Speed Limit (the roads are currently 30mph by virtue of street lighting) Fullbridge - From a point approximately 8 metres northeast of the northeast kerb line of Mill Lane for entire length in a south westerly direction to its junction with Market Hill. And the full length of the following roads:-

Baker Mews, Bull Lane, Cromwell Lane, Edward Bright Close, Market Hill, High Street, Mill Lane, Old Mill Close, Saxon Court, Tait Mews

These traffic measures are undertaken under "the Act" and in conjunction with additional safety improvements, are funded by national government as part of the response to the Covid-19 situation, designed to allow people more space to social distance as people move around the town centre.

Essex Highways will be replacing some of the existing temporary measures with more aesthetically pleasing semi permeable measures including barriers, signs and cones, on routes in the town centre from 14/07/2020.

The Traffic measures under this notice may stay in force for up to 18 months. During this

period of time a decision will be taken as to whether to make these measures permanent

at this point a full public consultation will be undertaken.

(Footpath 25, Tollesbury) (Temporary Prohibition of Use) Order 2020

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close Footpath 25 Tollesbury in the District of Maldon, at Rolls Farm, Tollesbury, from its junction with Footpath 32, south east then east then north east for approximately 930 metres along the crest of the tidal embankment. The closure is scheduled to commence on 03/08/2020 to 13/11/2020 or where appropriate signs are showing and weather permitting. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while works to repair the tidal embankment are undertaken.

The alternative route will be accessed via the junction with Footpath 32, Tollesbury and will run parallel to Footpath 25 on the north side of the embankment, between the borrowdyke and the landowner's crop field.

The Order will come into effect on 03/08/2020 and may continue in force for 6 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Conduit Lane, Woodham Mortimer) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2020

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Conduit Lane, Woodham Mortimer in the District of Maldon, from its junction with Maldon Road to its junction with Little Meadows, a distance of approximately 205m. The closure is scheduled to commence on 10/08/2020 for 3 days, or where stated on a valid permit (BC005KL1W000000085524DNO - BT). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while cable transfer works are undertaken by BT.

An alternative route is available via Conduit Lane, Post Office Road, Maldon Road and vice versa.

The Order will come into effect on 30/07/2020 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Green Lane, Burnham-on-Crouch) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2020

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Green Lane, Burnham-on-Crouch in the District of Maldon, from a point approximately 40m southeast of its junction with Mangapp Chase for a distance of approximately 45m in a southeasterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 10/08/2020 for 5 days, or where stated on a valid permit (AZ0081000946568 - Cadent). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while new connection works are undertaken by Cadent.

An alternative route is available via Maldon Road, Church Road, Southminster Road and vice versa.

The Order will come into effect on 30/07/2020 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Park Wood Lane, Little Totham) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2020

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Park Wood Lane, Little Totham in the District of Maldon, from its junction with Office Lane to its junction with School Road, a distance of approximately 655m. The closure is scheduled to commence on 11/08/2020 for 7 days, or where stated on a valid permit (BC005CC1W00000WBKCJ82D0A - BT). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while overhead cable works are undertaken by BT. An alternative route is available via Office Lane, Plains Road, The Street, School Road, The Green and vice versa.

The Order will come into effect on 30/07/2020 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(School Road & Beckingham Street, Little Totham) (Temporary Prohibition

1. To temporarily close that length of School Road, Little Totham in the District of Maldon, from its junction with Park Wood Lane for a distance of approximately 380m in a southerly direction.



2. To temporarily close that length of Beckingham Street in the District of Maldon, from its junction with School Road for a distance of approximately 30m in an easterly direction.



The closure is scheduled to commence on 11/08/2020 for 7 days, or where stated on a valid permit (BC005CC1W00000WBKCJ82D0B - BT). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while access to overhead cable works is undertaken by BT.

An alternative route is available via Little Totham Road, Bakers Green, Maldon Road, Church Street, Goldhanger Road, Beckingham Road, Tolleshunt D'arcy Road, Beckingham Street, Mill Lane and vice versa.

The Order will come into effect on 30/07/2020 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(The Endway, Mayland) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2020

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of The Endway, Mayland in the District of Maldon, from a point approximately 35m east of its junction with Dairy Farm Road for a distance of approximately 80m in an easterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 29/07/2020 for 14 days, or where stated on a valid permit (BC111IBTWF7RF004 - BT). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while ducting and connection works are undertaken by BT.

An alternative route is available via The Endway, Burnham Road, Maldon Road, Tinkers Hole Road and vice versa.

The Order came into effect on 23/07/2020 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Riffhams Lane, Danbury) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2020

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Riffhams Lane, Danbury in the City of Chelmsford, from a point approximately 125m southwest of its junction with Elm Green Lane for a distance of approximately 60m in a southwesterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 29/07/2020 for 2 days, or where stated on a valid permit (BC411SAWBHRJ91C001 - BT). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while pole replacement and overhead spine cabling works are undertaken by BT.

An alternative route is available via Main Road, Elm Green Lane and vice versa. The Order came into effect on 16/07/2020 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(School Road, Little Totham) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2020

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of School Road, Little Totham in the District of Maldon, from its junction with Park Wood Lane to its junction with Church Lane a distance of approximately 190m. The closure is scheduled to commence on 30/07/2020 for 2 days, or where stated on a valid permit (BC005CA789W00000WBKCJT8L - BT). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while fibre optic cable works are undertaken by BT. An alternative route is available via School Road, Little Totham Road, Bakers Green, Maldon Road, Goldhanger Road, Colchester Road, Broad Street Green Road, Chapel Road, Plains Road, The Street, The Green and vice versa.

The Order came into effect on 16/07/2020 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
