LONDON BOROUGH OF MERTON PROPOSED 20 MPH SPEED LIMIT PARKSIDE, WIMBLEDON THE MERTON (20 MPH SPEED LIMIT! (NO. *) TRAFFIC ORDER 202*
1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Merton propose to make the above-mentioned Order under sections 84 and 124 of, and Part IV of Schedule 9 to, the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, and all other enabling powers.

2. The general effect of the Order will be to:-

(a) impose a 20 MPH speed limit in the road or length of road described in Schedule 1 to this notice, and,

(b) revoke the Orders specified in Schedule 2 to this notice and re-enact their provisions.

3 A copy of the proposed Order and other documents giving more detailed particulars of the Order, including a plan which indicates the road or length of road to which the Order relates would under normal circumstances be deposited at Merton Link, Merton Civic Centre, London Road, Morden and would normally be available for inspection during the Council's normal office hours on Mondays to Fridays inclusive. However, due to the pandemic, the Civic centre is closed; therefore, the documents can only be available for inspection at

Alternatively, those without internet access can receive a copy of the documents by post, by phoning 020 8274 4901 or by sending a request to us by post to:- the Environment and Regeneration Department at the Merton Civic Centre, London Road, Morden, Surrey, SM4 5DX. The letter of request should be prominently marked: PHASE6/ PARKSIDE-20MPH.
4. Any person desiring to make representations or to object to the proposed Order should send a statement in writing of their representations or objections and the grounds thereof, to the Environment and Regeneration Department, Merton Civic Centre, London Road, Morden, Surrey, SM4 5DX or alternatively by email to trafficandhighways®

quoting the reference PHASE6/PARKSIDE-20MPH no later than 24th July 2020.

LONDON BOROUGH OF MERTON ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14(1)
RIALTO ROAD. CR4
(TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2020
1. The Council of the London Borough of Merton hereby give notice that to facilitate a new water connection to the mains in Rialto Road, CR4, they have made an Order, the effect of which will be to temporarily restrict vehicular traffic in the said road.

2. During the works:-

(a) no person will cause or permit any vehicle to enter or proceed in Rialto Road, CR4, between the common boundary of Nos. 25/27 and 29/31 Rialto Road, and the common boundary of Nos. 37/39 and 41/43 Rialto

(b) no person will cause or permit any vehicle to wait, including for the purposes of loading or unloading, in the length of road specified in paragraph 2(a) above; and

(c) any designated parking place situated in the length of road specified in paragraph 2(a) above will be suspended.

3. The restrictions will only apply during such times and to such extent as will from time to time be indicated by traffic signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

4. Vehicular traffic affected by the road closure should proceed via Sandy Lane, Priestley Road, Guyatt Gardens, Roper Way and Eastfields Road or vice-versa.

5. Nothing in the Order will apply: -

(a) to any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works; or

(b) to anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform, or a police community support officer in uniform; or

(c) to any vehicle being used for police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes; or

(d) so as to prevent vehicular access to premises in or adjacent to the road or length of road specified in paragraph 2(a) to this notice insofar as access is reasonably practicable without interference with the works.

6. Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any waiting prohibition imposed by the Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.

7. The Order will come into operation on Monday 13th July 2020 with the works expected to be completed by Tuesday 13th October 2020. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months should further works be required.

CANNON HILL LANE. SW20
(TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2020
1. The Council of the London Borough of Merton hereby give notice that to facilitate pigeon netting installation and associated bridge works in Cannon Hill Lane, SW20 they intend to make an Order, the effect of which would be to temporarily restrict vehicular traffic in the said road.

2. During the works, no person would cause or permit any vehicle to:-

(a) enter or proceed in Cannon Hill Lane, between its junction with Whatley Avenue and the common boundary of Nos. 64 and 66 Cannon Hill Lane; or

(b) wait, including for the purposes of loading or unloading, in the length of Cannon Hill Lane specified in sub-paragraph (a) above.

3. Any designated parking place situated in the length of Cannon Hill Lane specified in sub-paragraph 2(a) above would be suspended for the duration of the works.

4. The restrictions would only apply during such times and to such extent as would from time to time be indicated by traffic signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

5. Vehicular traffic affected by the road closure should proceed via Kingston Road, Bushey Road and Martin Way or vice-versa.

6. Nothing in the Order would apply to: -

(a) any person or vehicle engaged in the execution of the said works; or

(b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or a police community support officer in uniform; or

(c) any vehicle being used for police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes; or

(d) any person requiring vehicular access to properties adjacent to the prohibited road or length of road insofar as access is reasonably practicable without interference with the said works.

7. Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any waiting prohibition imposed by the Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.

COOMBE LANE AND PEPYS ROAD. SW20
(TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2020
1. The Council of the London Borough of Merton hereby give notice that to facilitate a fire hydrant exchange in the carriageway and associated works in Coombe Lane and Pepys Road, SW20, they intend to make an Order, the effect of which would be to temporarily restrict vehicular traffic in the said roads.

2. During the works no person would cause or permit any vehicle to enter, proceed or wait, including for the purpose of loading or unloading any vehicle, in the carriageway north of the island site at the junction of Coombe Lane and Pepys Road opposite Raynes Park Bridge.

3. The restrictions would only apply during such times and to such extent as would from time to time be indicated by traffic signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

4. Nothing in the Order would apply to: -

(a) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works; or

(b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform, a police community support officer in uniform or a Civil Enforcement Officer; or

(c) any vehicle being used for police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes.

5. Vehicular traffic affected by the road closure should proceed by way of Raynes Park Bridge, Approach Road, Kingston Road, Bushey Road, Grand Drive, Approach Road, Raynes Park Bridge and Coombe Lane.

6. Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction imposed by the Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.

7. The Order would come into force on Monday 27th July 2020 and it is expected that the works would be completed within 3 months. However, the Order would remain in force for a period of 12 months should further works be required.
