(TEMPORARY FOOTPATH CLOSURE) ORDER 2018
The above-named Order made by the Council on 20/12/18, under section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, and which became operational on 28/12/18 has been continued in force from 28/6/2020, as approved by the Secretary of State for Transport, until 28/6/2022 or until completion of the works, whichever is the earlier. The effect of the Order is to temporarily close to all pedestrian traffic 460 mtrs of Footpath no.14 Stanhope parish that extends between Footpath nos. 14a & 76a (north of Dunsfleld Farm Est), and Footpath no. 16 (south east of Prospect House), Stanhope to enable bridge repair works to be undertaken. Alternative route from the south eastern side of the closure from Footpath No.14 north westerly on Footpath No.76a and continuing on Footpath No.76 and 71 to road B6278 then northerly on Crawleyside bank to the junction with Footpath No.14 (adj to field row) leading to the north western side of the closure and vice versa.
(C37 CHILTON LANE. FERRYfflLL STATION) (TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2020
The Council proposes to make an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984 as amended, Section 14 (1) to prohibit all vehicular traffic from proceeding on a 250m of C37 Chilton Ln from its June with the road leading to the British Legion Club to Feversham Tee, Ferryhill Station to enable water supply improvement works to be undertaken. An alt route will be available to vehicular traffic from the southern side of the closure from C37 Gypsy Ln south westerly on C36 Laurel Rd leading to Chilton then northwards on A167 to Ferryhill and easterly on C68 Dean Rd and south easterly on C26 to the June with C37 Chilton Ln leading to the northern side of the closure and vice versa. The maximum duration of the Order is 18 months. The proposed works are to commence on 8/7/2020 and are anticipated to be completed in a month. On occasions, alternative dates for closure may be necessary and these will be signed accordingly.
