The Council proposes to make an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984 as amended, Section 14 (1) to prohibit all vehicular and pedestrian traffic from proceeding on Pedestrian traffic 1.50m of PROW No 59 that extends westwards from The Briary 2.15m of segregated footpath that extends northwards from Selbome Gdns (toward Goodwood CI) Vehicular traffic 1.150m of Churchill CI from its June with Summerdale 2.25m of The Close that extends northwards from its junc with The Mount 3. 20m of The Mount that extends westwards from its junc with Mountside 4.10m of Glenside between nos 18-22 5. 15m of The Drive that extends eastwards from its junc with The Close 6.15m of Woodland Cres between Woodside and Westfield 7.20m of Woodland Ct outside nos 1-2 8.15m of Selborne Gdns that extends northwards from its junc with Woodlands Rd/Queens Rd to enable new telecom duct works to be undertaken. An alt route will be available to pedestrian traffic 1. Via Benfieldside Rd, Summerdale and Churchill Ave 2. It is likely that any restriction of this path would be ininimal with pedestrian access generally maintained. An alt route will be generally be available locally to traffic during the road closures. The maximum duration of the Order is 18 months. The proposed works are to commence on 7/7/2020 and are anticipated to be completed in 2 weeks with individual closures being required for 3-5 days. On occasions, alternative dates for closure may be necessary and these will be signed accordingly.
(PIXLEY DELL. DELVES LANE. CONSETT)
(TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2020 The Council on 12/672020 made the above Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984 as amended, Section 14 (1) to prohibit all vehicular traffic from proceeding on a 50m of Pixley Dell north eastwards from Delves Ln to outside no 6 Pixley Dell, Delves Ln, Consett. to enable sewer repaMining works to be undertaken. An alt route will be avail to vehicular traffic from the south western side of the closure from Delves Ln south easterly, turning northerly onto Greenways and westerly into Pixley Dell to the north eastern side of the closure, and vice versa. The maximum duration of the Order is 18 months. The proposed works are to commence on 22/6/2020 and are anticipated to be completed in 3 days (between 8am & 4.30pm daily). On occasions, alternative dates for closure may be necessary and these will be signed accordingly.
(WITTON STREET, DELVES LANE. CONSETT)
(TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2020 The Council on 12/6/2020 made the above Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984 as amended, Section 14 (1) to prohibit all vehicular traffic from proceeding on approx 22m of Witton St, Delves Ln, Consett outside no's 39-40 to enable NWL apparatus repair works to be undertaken. An alt route will be available for vehicular traffic from northern side of closure north easterly at 17 Witton St, then south easterly on Delves Ln, then south westerly on Broadway to southern side of closure and vice versa. The maximum duration of the Order is 18 months. The proposed works are to commence at 8am on 22/6/2020 and are anticipated to be completed in
5 days (daily between 8am & 4.30pm). On occasions, alternative dates for closure may be necessary and these will be signed accordingly.

The Council proposes to make an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984 as amended, Section 14 (1) to prohibit all pedestrian traffic from proceeding on 40m of segregated footpath that extends to the frontage of nos 17-24 Beverley Gdns, Consett to enable telecom duct installation works to be undertaken. An alternative route will be available to pedestrian traffic via the rear of Beverley Gdns/West Vw. The maximum duration of the Order is 6 months. The proposed works are to commence on 6/7/2020 and are anticipated to be completed in 2 wks. On occasions, alternative dates for closure may be necessary and these will be signed accordingly. Middle Chare from footpath at Front St to the yards access easterly for 60m 2. High Chare from its junc with Front St easterly for 15m. Prohibition of Driving 3. Station Rd, eastbound traffic from the car park access at the Lambton Arms Hotel to Front St, for a distance of 28m (Front St to Station Rd remains open) to aid social distancing in accordance with the Covid-19 guidance. (TEMPORARY PROHD3ITION OF WAITING AT ANYTIME) ORDER 2020 The Council on 12/6/2020 made the above Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984 as amended, Section 14 (2) to prohibit all vehicular traffic from waiting at any time on C12a Cocken Road A. north side of the rd commencing from a point approx. 12m west from its junc with Unc Rdl3.12 easterly then southerly for 553 m. The restrictions will also extend approx 20m on both sides of the road into the junc of the C12a Cocken Rd / Unc Rd 13.12. B. The south side of the road commencing from a point approx 12m west from its junc with Unc Rd 13.12 easterly for 103 m. C. south side of the rd commencing from a point approx 284m east from its junc with Unc Rd 13.12 easterly then southerly for 228 m. Unclassified Finchale Abbey Access Road A. north side of the rd from a point 33m south-west of the private Abbey access south westerly for 30m B. The southern side of the rd from the private Abbey access south westerly for 100m to minimise a danger to the public caused by indiscriminate parking. The restrictions will be enforced by appropriate traffic signs clearly displayed on site. The maximum duration of the Order is 18 months. The proposed prohibition of waiting is to commence 20/6/2020.
