(PROW FOOTPATH NO.6 SPENNYMOOR PARISH AND FOOTBRIDGE NO 1 BYERS GREEN PARISH) TEMPORARY FOOTPATH AND FOOTBRIDGE CLOSURE) ORDER 2019

The above-named Order made by the Council on 28/11/2019 under section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, and which became operational on 19/12/2019 has been continued in force from 9/6/2020 as approved by the Secretary of State for Transport, until 9/12/2021 or until completion of the works, whichever is the earlier. The effect of the Order is to prohibit all pedestrian traffic from proceeding on a 15m length of PROW footpath No.6 Spennymoor Parish that includes footbridge No.l Byers Green Parish at Hagg Beck, Byers Green to enable footbridge abutment repair works to be undertaken. The alt route is from the western side of the closure in a southerly direction on footpath No.8, then northerly on footpath No.5 to the eastern side of the closure and vice versa. Date: 01/06/2020
