CROYDON COUNCIL NEW ADDINGTON LEISURE & COMMUNITY CENTRE - PROPOSED INTRODUCTION OF PERMIT HOLDER ONLY/DISABLED BADGE HOLDER ONLY OFF-STREET CAR PARKS The Croydon (Off Street Parking Places) (No.1) Traffic Order 2020
1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Croydon Council on 18 May 2020 made the above Traffic Order under Sections 32, 35, 124 of, and Parts I to IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984 as amended and all other enabling powers.

2. The general effect of the Order will be to designate the areas described in the Schedule to this notice as off-street car parks for the use of permit holders or Blue Disabled Badge holders only as detailed below:-

(a) All vehicles left in within the car parks specified in the Schedule to this Notice must ptark within marked bays and display a valid permit or Blue Badge in accordance with the signs and surface markings displayed in the parking areas;

(b) Parking permits will be available to residents of Nos. 113, 113a, 113b, 113c, 115, 115a, 115b and 115c Chertsey Crescent only with a maximum of one permit per household;

(c) Vehicles not parking within marked bays or in accordance with the signs and surface markings displayed will be liable to receive a Penalty Charge Notice.

3. Copies of the Order, which will come into operation on 22 May 2020, can be inspected from 9am to 4pm, on Mondays to Fridays inclusive until the end of six weeks from the date on which the Order was made, at the Enquiry Counter, "Access Croydon" Facility, Bernard Weatherill House, 8 Mint Walk, Croydon, CR0 1EA.

4. Copies of the Order may be obtained from the Order Making Section, Parking Design, 6th Floor, Zone C, Bernard Weatherill House, 8 Mint Walk, Croydon, CR0 1 EA or via email from parking.design@croydon.

5. Any person desiring to question the validity of the Order or of any provision contained therein on the grounds that it is not within the relevant powers of the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984 or that any of the relevant requirements thereof or of any relevant regulations made there under have not been complied with in relation to the Order may, within six weeks of the date on which the Order was made, make application for the purpose to the High Court.

SCHEDULE
4. A copy of the proposed Orders and of all related Orders, of the Council's statement of reasons for proposing to make the Orders and of the plan which indicates the length of road to which

the Orders relate, can be inspected between 9am and 4pm on Mondays to Fridays inclusive until the last day of a period of six weeks beginning with the date on which the Orders are made or, as the case may be, the Council decides not to make the Orders, at the Enquiry Counter, 'Access Croydon' Facility, Bernard Weatherill House, 8 Mint Walk, Croydon, CR0 1 EA. CROYDON COUNCIL ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT. 1984. SECTION 14 AS AMENDED AND THE ROAD TRAFFIC (TEMPORARY RESTRICTIONS) ACT 1991 APOSTLE WAY. THORNTON HEATH TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF TRAFFIC & PARKING
1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate district meter exchange works, they have made an Order the effect of which would be to temporarily restrict traffic and parking in Apostle Way, Thornton Heath.

2. Whilst the said works are taking place:

a) Apostle Way will be closed between its junctions with Parchmore Road and Windsor Road;

b) Parking will be suspended in the above section of Apostle Way and waiting and loading restrictions will apply "at any time".

3. During the works the diversion route for traffic will be via Church Road, Beulah Hill and Upper Beulah Hill, as appropriately signed.

4. The Order will come into operation on 26 May 2020 and it is anticipated that the works will be completed within three days, between 8am and 5pm each day. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further works be required.

5. These restrictions shall not apply in respect of:

(a) any vehicle involved in carrying out the said works;

(b) any vehicle being used for fire brigade, ambulance or police purposes;

(c) anything done with the permission of a police constable in uniform or a Civil Enforcement Officer.

CROYDON COUNCIL ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT. 1984. SECTION 14 AS AMENDED AND THE ROAD TRAFFIC (TEMPORARY RESTRICTIONS) ACT 1991
BIGGIN HILL. UPPER NORWOOD TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF TRAFFIC
1. Croydon Council, HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate works clear a blockage in the carriageway, they have made an Order the effect of which would be to temporarily restrict traffic in Biggin Hill.

2. Whilst the said works are taking place Biggin Hill will be closed between its junction with Beulah Hill and the south-western boundary of No.315 Beulah Hill.

3. During the works the diversion route for traffic will be via Beulah Hill, Downsview Road, Biggin Way and Biggin Hill, as appropriately signed.

4. The Order will come into operation on 24 May 2020 and it is anticipated that the works will be completed within approximately one day, between 8am and 5pm. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further works be required.

5. These restrictions shall not apply in respect of:

(a) any vehicle involved in carrying out the said works;

(b) any vehicle being used for fire brigade, ambulance or police purposes;

(c) anything done with the permission of a police constable in uniform or a Civil Enforcement Officer.

CROYDON COUNCIL ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT. 1984. SECTION 14 AS AMENDED THE ROAD TRAFFIC (TEMPORARY RESTRICTIONS) ACT 1991 AND ALL OTHER ENABLING POWERS DOWNSVIEW ROAD. UPPER NORWOOD TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF VEHICULAR TRAFFIC & PARKING
1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that to facilitate works to install a new customer connection on behalf of UKPN, they have made an Order the effect of which would be to temporarily prohibit vehicular traffic and parking in Downsview Road.

2. Whilst the said works are taking place:-

a) Downsview Road will be closed between its junction with Beulah Hill and the north-eastern boundary of No. 1 Downsview Road;

b) Waiting and loading restrictions prohibiting parking will apply "at any time" on both sides in the above section of Downsview Road.

3) Whilst the closure remains in force the alternative routes for diverted traffic will be via Biggin Way, Biggin Hill and Beulah Hill for westbound traffic or via Waddington Way, Spurgeon Road and Beulah Hill for eastbound traffic, as appropriately signed.
4. The Order will come into operation on 26 May 2020 and it is anticipated that the works will be completed within four days between 8am and 6pm each day. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further works be required. The prohibitions will only apply during such times and to such extent as shall from time to time be indicated by traffic signs.

5. These restrictions shall not apply in respect of:

(a) any vehicle involved in carrying out the said works;

(b) any vehicle being used for fire brigade, ambulance or police purposes;

(c) anything done with the permission of a police constable in uniform or a Civil Enforcement Officer.

CROYDON COUNCIL ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT. 1984. SECTION 14 AS AMENDED THE ROAD TRAFFIC (TEMPORARY RESTRICTIONS) ACT 1991 AND ALL OTHER ENABLING POWERS FOOTPATH NO. 683. BETWEEN HYTHE ROAD AND MERSHAM ROAD. THORNTON HEATH TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF PEDESTRIAN TRAFFIC
1. Croydon Council, HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that to facilitate an ongoing fly-tip clean up on the public footpath, they intend to make an order the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit pedestrian movements on Footpath No. 683.

2. Whilst the said works are taking place no person shall proceed along Public Footpath No.683 which lies between Hvthe Road and Mersham Road, Thornton Heath.

3. Whilst the Order remains in force the alternative route for pedestrians will be via Hythe Road, Livingstone Road and Mersham Road as appropriately signed.

4. The Order will come into operation on 05 June 2020 and it is anticipated that the works will be carried out in 6 months. The prohibition will only apply during such times and to such extent as shall from time to time be indicated by traffic signs.

5. Nothing in this Order shall apply to anyone carrying out the said works, or to anything done for police, ambulance or fire brigade purposes or with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or a civil enforcement officer.

1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate works to install a new drainage connection, they intend to make an Order to the effect of which would be to temporarily restrict traffic and parking in Grove Road, Thornton Heath.

2. Whilst the said works are taking place:-

(a) Grove Road will be closed between its junctions with Ashley Road and Kirklees Road;

(b) Waiting restrictions will apply and parking will be prohibited at any time in the above section of Grove Road.

3. During the works the diversion route for traffic will be via Ashley Road and Fairlands Avenue as appropriately signed.

4. The Order will come into operation on 05 June 2020 and it is anticipated that the works will be carried out within four weeks. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further works be required.

5. These restrictions shall not apply in respect of:

(a) any vehicle involved in carrying out the said works;

(b) any vehicle being used for fire brigade, ambulance or police purposes;

(c) anything done with the permission of a police constable in uniform or a Civil Enforcement Officer.

The Croydon (Prohibition and Restriction of Stopping, Loading and Waiting) and (Free Parking Places) (Amendment No. K75) Order 20-The Croydon (On-Street Charged-For Parking Places) (Amendment NO.K76) Order 20-
1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Croydon Council proposes to make the above Traffic Orders under section 6 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended and all other enabling powers.

2. The general effect of the Orders would be to designate a new parking place at which vehicles displaying a disabled persons' badge may be left without charge or time limit in the following location.

3. The general effect of the Orders will also be to amend the map-based tiles to the Schedule attached to the above Orders so as to accurately represent the new parking arrangements as they exist on site.
