CROYDON COUNCIL ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984, SECTION 16A AS AMENDED BY THE ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION (SPECIAL EVENTS) ACT 1994 TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC ORDER PLAYSTREET CLOSURES - LIVINGSTONE ROAD, THORNTON HEATH

1. Croydon Council, HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that they Intend to make a Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order, the effect of which will be to close Livingstone Road, Thornton Heath, to vehicular traffic at the times and on the dates specified in the Schedule to this notice, to facilitate a playstreet.



2. During the dates and times specified in the Schedule to this notice no person shall cause any vehicle enter or proceed in Livingstone Road, between its junctions with Layard Road and Mersham Place.



3. The provisions of the Order will not prevent access being maintained for residents, or pedestrians accessing any premises situated on



or adjacent to any road to which this Order relates, or to any other premises accessible from, and only from, such a road.

4. Nothing in the Order shall apply:



a) to anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform;



b) to any vehicle being used for police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes, or the purposes of a statutory undertaker in an emergency, such as the loss of supplies of gas, electricity or water to premises in the area, which necessitates the bringing of vehicles into a section of road to which the order applies.



5. Whilst the closure is in force the alternative route for traffic will be via Layard Road and Moffat Road.



6. The Order will come into effect on 08 March 2020 and will be reintroduced at the times and on the dates specified in the Schedule to this Notice.

CROYDON COUNCIL ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT, 1984, SECTION 14 AS AMENDED THE ROAD TRAFFIC (TEMPORARY RESTRICTIONS) ACT 1991 AND ALL OTHER ENABLING POWERS WINTERBOURNE ROAD, THORNTON HEATH TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF VEHICULAR TRAFFIC

1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that to facilitate works by Thames Water, they intend to make an Order the effect of which would be to temporarily prohibit vehicular traffic movements in Winterbourne Road, Thornton Heath.



2. Whilst the said works are taking place, no person shall cause any vehicle to proceed in Winterbourne Road at its junction with London Road.



3. Whilst the closure remains in force the alternative routes for diverted traffic will be via Wiltshire Road, Langdale Road, London Road and reverse, or via London Road, Oaklands Road, Goston Road and Winterbourne Road, as appropriately signed.



4. The Order will come into operation on 18 February 2020 and it is anticipated that the works will be carried out within three days. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further works be required. The prohibitions will only apply during such times and to such extent as shall from time to time be indicated by traffic signs.



5. These restrictions shall not apply in respect of:



(a) any vehicle involved in carrying out the said works;



(b) any vehicle being used for fire brigade, ambulance or police purposes;



(c) anything done with the permission of a police constable in uniform or a Civil Enforcement Officer.

1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that to facilitate works to install a new customer connection on behalf of UKPN, they intend to make



an Order the effect of which would be to temporarily prohibit vehicular traffic movements and parking in Thornton Row.

2. Whilst the said works are taking place:-



a) Thornton Row will be closed at its junction with London Road;



b) the two disabled bays adjacent to the flank wall of No. 774 London Road will be suspended.



3. Whilst the closure remains in force residential access will be maintained.



4. The Order will come into operation on 17 February 2020 and it is anticipated that the works will be completed within five days between 8am and 6pm each day. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further works be required. The prohibitions will only apply during such times and to such extent as shall from time to time be indicated by traffic signs.



5. These restrictions shall not apply in respect of:



(a) a vehicle being used for fire brigade, ambulance or police purposes;



(b) anything done with the permission of a police constable in uniform or a traffic warden;



(c) any vehicle involved in carrying out the specified works. 30 January 2020

1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that to facilitate telecoms ducting works they intend to make an Order the effect of which would



be to temporarily prohibit vehicular traffic movements in Melville Avenue.

2. Whilst the said works are taking place Melville Avenue will be closed at its junction with Coombe Road.



3. During the works the alternative route for traffic will be via Coombe Road, Castlemaine Avenue, Ballater Road and Melville Avenue or via Melville Avenue, Ballater Road, Castlemaine Avenue, Binfield Road, Croham Park Avenue and Coombe Road, as appropriately signed.



4. The restriction shall not apply in respect of:



(a) any vehicle involved in carrying out the said works;



(b) any vehicle being used for fire brigade, ambulance or police purposes;



(c) anything done with the permission of a police constable in uniform or a Civil Enforcement Officer.

CROYDON COUNCIL ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT, 1984, SECTION 14 AS AMENDED AND THE ROAD TRAFFIC (TEMPORARY RESTRICTIONS) ACT 1991 CHERRY ORCHARD ROAD & OVAL ROAD, CROYDON TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF TRAFFIC & PARKING

1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate construction of the Morello 2 development, they intend to make an Order the effect of which would be to temporarily restrict traffic and parking in Cherry Orchard Road and Oval Road, Croydon.

2. Whilst the said works are taking place:-



a) The western footway of Cherry Orchard Road will be closed between its junctions with Oval Road and Billinton Hill;



b) Parking bays and taxi ranks in Cherry Orchard Road between its junctions with Oval Road and Billinton Hill will be suspended and replaced by waiting restrictions operating "at any time";



c) The existing double yellow line waiting restriction on the south­eastern (even-numbered) side of Oval Road at its junction with Cherry Orchard Road will be extended by 60 metres to the north-eastern boundary of No. 70 Oval Road;



d) Cherry Orchard Road and Oval Road will be fully or partially closed as necessary in order to facilitate the works, as indicated by traffic signs displayed at least two weeks before any closure is implemented.



3. Whilst closures are in force, the alternative route for traffic will be via the A232, Shirley Road and Lower Addiscombe Road and vice versa. Vehicles under 18t may alternatively use St James's Road, Wellesley Road and the A232.



4. The Order will come into operation on 28 February 2020 and will remain in force until the end of December 2022 or until completion of the works, whichever is the sooner.



5. These restrictions shall not apply in respect of:



(a) any vehicle involved in carrying out the said works;



(b) any vehicle being used for fire brigade, ambulance or police purposes;



(c) anything done with the permission of a police constable in uniform or a Civil Enforcement Officer.

CROYDON COUNCIL ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT, 1984 SECTION 14, AS AMENDED THE ROAD TRAFFIC (TEMPORARY RESTRICTIONS) ACT 1991 TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC AND PARKING ABERDEEN ROAD, CROYDON

1. Croydon Council, HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that to facilitate service pipe repair works by Thames Water, they intend to make an Order the effect of which would be to temporarily restrict traffic and parking in Aberdeen Road.



2. Whilst the said works are taking place:-



a) Eastbound one-way working will apply in Aberdeen Road (from South End towards St. Peter's Road).



b) Parking in Aberdeen Road will be suspended as necessary to facilitate the works.



3. During the works the alternative route for diverted traffic will be via St Peter's Road, Coombe Road and South End, or via South End, St Peter's Road, Selsdon Road, Bartlett Street and Brighton Road as appropriately signed.



4. The Order will come into operation on the 14 February 2020 and it is anticipated that the works will be carried out within approximately two days between 8.30am and 4.30pm each day. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further works be required.



5. The prohibitions will only apply during such times and to such extent as shall from time to time be indicated by traffic signs.



6. These restrictions shall not apply in respect of:



(a) A vehicle being used for fire brigade, ambulance or police purposes;



(b) A vehicle involved in carrying out the said works;



(c) Anything done with the permission of a police constable in uniform or a Civil Enforcement Officer.
