PN724 CROYDON COUNCIL ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT, 1984, SECTION 14 AS AMENDED AND THE ROAD TRAFFIC (TEMPORARY RESTRICTIONS) ACT 1991 BOSTON ROAD, CROYDON TEMPORARY CLOSURE AND SUSPENSION OF PARKING

1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate sewer repairs in the carriageway, they intend to make an Order the effect of which would be to temporarily restrict traffic and parking in Boston Road, Croydon.



2. Whilst the said works are taking place:-



(a) Boston Road will be closed on outside Nos. 34 to 36 Boston Road.



(b) Parking in the disabled bay outside No. 34 Boston Road will be suspended and waiting and loading restrictions will apply "at any time' within the bay.



3. During the closure traffic will be diverted via Stanley Road and Wortley Road or via Lynton Road, Stanley Grove and Stanley Road. Access will be maintained for residents.



4. The Order will come into operation on 13 January 2020 and it is anticipated that the works will be completed within 12 days, between Bam and 5pm each day. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further works be required.



5. These restrictions shall not apply in respect of:



(a) any vehicle involved in carrying out the said works;



(b) any vehicle being used for fire brigade, ambulance or police purposes;



(c) anything done with the permission of a police constable in uniform or a Civil Enforcement Officer.

PN725 CROYDON COUNCIL ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT, 1984, SECTION 14 AS AMENDED THE ROAD TRAFFIC (TEMPORARY RESTRICTIONS) ACT 1991 AND ALL OTHER ENABLING POWERS LONG LANE & MILFORD GARDENS & LONGHEATH GARDENS, CROYDON TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF VEHICULAR TRAFFIC

1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that to facilitate sewer diversion works, they intend to make an Order the effect of which would be to temporarily prohibit vehicular traffic movements in Long Lane, Longheath Gardens and Milford Gardens.



2. Whilst the said works are taking place:



(a) Milford Gardens will be closed between its junctions with Longheath Gardens and Long Lane;



(b) Long Lane will be closed between its junction with Milford Gardens and the common boundary of Nos. 249 and 251 Long Lane;



(c) Longheath Gardens will be closed at its junction with Milford Gardens.



3. The Order will come into operation on 13 January 2020 and it is anticipated that the works will be completed within approximately five months. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further works be required. The prohibitions will only apply during such times and to such extent as shall from time to time be indicated by traffic signs.

PN726 CROYDON COUNCIL ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT, 1984, SECTIONS 14 AND 15(5) AS AMENDED BY THE ROAD TRAFFIC (TEMPORARY RESTRICTIONS) ACT 1991 AND ALL OTHER ENABLING POWERS MELVILLE AVENUE, SOUTH CROYDON TEMPORARY ONE-WAY WORKING FOR TRAFFIC

1. Croydon Council, HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that the Secretary of State has issued a direction under Section 15(5) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 to extend the above temporary prohibition until a permanent Order is made.



2. Whilst the Order continues in force no person shall cause any vehicle to proceed in Melville Avenue between its junction with Coombe Road and a point 15 metres south of that junction in a direction other than from south to north.



3. The duration of the Order, which originally came into operation on 30 July 2018 and was due to expire on 30 January 2020, will be extended until 30 July 2020, or until a new permanent Order is made, whichever is sooner.

Croydon Council HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that to facilitate road gully works, they intend to make an Order the effect of which would be to temporarily prohibit vehicular traffic movements in Chertsey Crescent, New Addington.

2. Whilst the said works are taking place, one way workings will be introduced in Chertsey Crescent, between No.36 to No.76 Chertsey Crescent.



3. Whilst the closure remains in force the alternative route for diverted traffic will be via local streets as appropriately signed.



4. The Order will come into operation on 10 January 2020 and it is anticipated that the works will be carried out in 3 weeks. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further works be required. The prohibitions will only apply during such times and to such extent as shall from time to time be indicated by traffic signs.

PN728 CROYDON COUNCIL ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT, 1984, SECTION 14 AS AMENDED THE ROAD TRAFFIC (TEMPORARY RESTRICTIONS) ACT 1991 AND ALL OTHER ENABLING POWERS PURLEY ROAD, SOUTH CROYDON TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF VEHICULAR PARKING

1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that to facilitate essential Thames Water works, they have made an Order the effect of which would be to temporarily prohibit vehicular parking in Purley Road, South Croydon.



2. Whilst the said works are taking place,



a) Parking suspensions will be in place outside and opposite No.1 to No.15 Purley Road and outside and opposite No.15 to No.39 Purley Road;



b) Any other traffic management measures required to facilitate the Thames Water works in progress.



3. The Order will come into operation on 06 January 2020 and it is anticipated that the works will be carried out in 2 weeks. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further works be required. The prohibitions will only apply during such times and to such extent as shall from time to time be indicated by traffic signs.

1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that to facilitate a mobile crane operation, they have made an Order the effect of which would be to temporarily prohibit vehicular traffic movements in Drummond Road, Croydon.



2. Whilst the said works are taking place, no person shall cause any vehicle to proceed in Drummond Road between its junction with Tamworth Place and Church Street.



3. Whilst the closure remains in force the alternative route for diverted traffic will be via local streets as appropriately signed.



4. The Order will come into operation on 19 January 2020 and it is anticipated that the works will be carried out in 2 days. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further works be required. The prohibitions will only apply during such times and to such extent as shall from time to time be indicated by traffic signs.
