CROYDON COUNCIL ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT, 1984, SECTION 14 AS AMENDED AND THE ROAD TRAFFIC (TEMPORARY RESTRICTIONS) ACT 1991 APSLEY ROAD, SOUTH NORWOOD TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF PARKING
1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate works to re-lay a service pipe by Thames Water, they intend to make an Order the effect of which would be to temporarily restrict parking in Apsley Road, South Norwood.

2. Whilst the said works are taking place parking will be suspended and waiting and loading restrictions will apply "at any time":-

- Outside Nos. 39 to 47 Apsley Road

- Outside Nos. 44 to 50 Apsley Road

- For a distance of approximately 25 metres either side of the junction with Seymour Place

3 The Order will come into operation on 06 September 2019 and will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further works be required.
4. These restrictions shall not apply in respect of:
(a) any vehicle involved in carrying out the said works;

(b) any vehicle being used for fire brigade, ambulance or police purposes;

(c) anything done with the permission of a police constable in uniform or a Civil Enforcement Officer.

THE ROAD TRAFFIC (TEMPORARY RESTRICTIONS) ACT 1991 AND ALL OTHER ENABLING POWERS COLLIERS WATER LANE, THORNTON HEATH TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF VEHICULAR PARKING
1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that to facilitate essential Thames Water works, they have made an Order the effect of which would be to temporarily prohibit vehicular parking in Colliers Water Lane, Thornton Heath.

2. Whilst the said works are taking place,

a) Parking suspensions will be in place outside and opposite No.44 to No.54 Colliers Water Lane;

b) Parking suspensions will be in place in Weybridge Road at its junction with Colliers Water Lane;

c) Any other traffic management measures required to facilitate the Thames Water works in progress.

3. Whilst the closure remains in force the alternative route for diverted traffic will be via local streets as appropriately signed.

4. The Order will come into operation on 23 August 2019 and it is anticipated that the works will be carried out in 1 week. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further works be required. The prohibitions will only apply during such times and to such extent as shall from time to time be indicated by traffic signs.

CROYDON COUNCIL PROPOSED INTRODUCTION OF ELECTRIC VEHICLE CHARGING BAYS AND AMENDMENTS TO EXISTING SHARED USE PARKING BAYS AND YELLOW LINES - VARIOUS ROADS The Croydon (Free Parking Places) (Electric Vehicles) (NO.K27) Order 20-The Croydon (Central) (Parking Places) (No.K28) Traffic Order 20-The Croydon (West) (Parking Places) (No.K29) Traffic Order 20-
1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Croydon Council proposes to make the above Traffic Orders under the relevant sections of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended and all other enabling powers.

2. The general effect of the Orders would be:-

(a) To provide parking places which may be used free of charge by electrically propelled vehicles that are being charged with electrical power, operational at any time on Mondays to Sundays inclusive, in the locations detailed in the Schedule to this Order.

(b) To remove existing shared use (permit/pay and display) parking bays or yellow lines where necessary, in those locations where electric vehicle charging bays are proposed.

3. A copy of the proposed Orders and all related documents can be inspected until the last day of a period of six weeks beginning with the date on which the Orders are made or, as the case may be, the Council

decides not to make the Orders, between 9am and 4pm on Mondays to Fridays inclusive at the Enquiry Counter, "Access Croydon" Facility, Bernard Weatherill House, 8 Mint Walk, Croydon, CR0 1EA.

5. 6. The proposed Orders are intended to introduce electric vehicle charging bays to enable electric vehicle users to have access to unobstructed charging facilities reserved for the use of electric vehicles only, as

part of the Council's aim to have a phased introduction of up to 400 electric vehicle charging points across the borough. The Orders are also intended to amend existing shared use parking bays and yellow lines to accommodate the new electric vehicle charging bays.

SCHEDULE - PROPOSED ELECTRIC VEHICLE CHARGING BAYS
a) One bay to be provided on the north-east side of Beech Road, Norbury, adjacent to the flank wall of No. 69 Norbury Court Road.

b) One bay to be provided on the south-east side of Brafferton Road, Croydon, adjacent to the flank wall of No. 60 Southbridge Road -this will replace one permit / pay and display bay.

c) One bay to be provided on the north side of Cranmer Road, Croydon, opposite No. 29 Cranmer Road - this will replace one permit / pay and display bay.

d) One bay to be provided on the south side of Fawcett Road, Croydon, outside Nos. 9 and 11 Fawcett Road - this will replace one permit / pay and display parking bay.

e) One bay to be provided on the south-west side of Lonsdale Gardens, Thornton Heath, adjacent to the flank wall of No. 72 Galpin's Road.

f) One bay to be provided on the north-west side of Oxford Road, Upper Norwood, outside Hill House, Oxford Road.

g) One bay to be provided on the north-west side of Ravenswood Road, Croydon, outside Nos. 11, 12 and 13 Ravenswood Road - this will replace one permit / pay and display parking bay.

h) One bay to be provided on the south-east side of Ross Road, South Norwood, outside Nos. 153 and 155 - this will replace a redundant disabled parking bay.

i) One bay to be provided on the north side of Semley Road, Norbury, adjacent to the Southern boundary of No. 80 Norton Gardens.

j) Two bays to be provided on the south-east side of St Luke's Close, South Norwood, adjacent to the flank wall of No. 31 Cumberland Road and outside No. 32 St Luke's Close.
k) One bay to be provided on the north-west side of Tanfield Road, Croydon, adjacent to the south-eastern boundary of No. 38 Southbridge Road - this will replace one permit / pay and display parking bay.
I) One bay to be provided on the south-west side of Warrington Road,
Croydon, adjacent to the flank wall of No. 41 Epsom Road - this will
replace a short section of single yellow line, m) One bay to be provided on the north-east side of Whitworth Road,
South Norwood, adjacent to the flank wall of No. 303 Homesdale
Road and partially outside No. 23 Whitworth Road - this will replace
a short section of single yellow line, n) One bay to be provided on the north-west side of Woodlands
Grove, Coulsdon, outside No. 62. o) Two bays to be provided on the north-east and south-west sides of
Zermatt Road, Thornton Heath, adjacent to the flank walls of Nos.
11 and 13 Lucerne Road.
CROYDON COUNCIL ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT, 1984, SECTION 14 AS AMENDED AND THE ROAD TRAFFIC (TEMPORARY RESTRICTIONS) ACT 1991 GRANGE ROAD, SOUTH NORWOOD TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF PARKING
1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate works to re-lay a service pipe by Thames Water, they intend to make an Order the effect of which would be to temporarily restrict parking in Grange Road, South Norwood.

2. Whilst the said works are taking place parking will be suspended and waiting and loading restrictions will apply "at any time" on both sides of Grange Road between the common boundaries of Nos. 113 and 115 and Nos. 127 and 129 Grange Road.

3 The Order will come into operation on 06 September 2019 and it is anticipated that the works will be carried out within approximately two days. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further works be required.
4. These restrictions shall not apply in respect of:
(a) any vehicle involved in carrying out the said works;

(b) any vehicle being used for fire brigade, ambulance or police purposes;

(c) anything done with the permission of a police constable in uniform or a Civil Enforcement Officer.

CROYDON COUNCIL ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT, 1984 SECTION 23 PROPOSED PELICAN CROSSING GREEN LANE, NORBURY
Croydon Council HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that they propose to install a pelican crossing in the above road as specified in the Schedule to this Notice.
The general effect of the zig-zag markings would be to prohibit all vehicles from stopping on the markings for any reason and to improve road safety by aiding pedestrians to cross safely.

CROYDON COUNCIL ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984, SECTION 16A AS AMENDED BY THE ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION (SPECIAL EVENTS) ACT 1994 TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC ORDER PLAYSTREET CLOSURE - CHURCHILL ROAD, SOUTH CROYDON
1. Croydon Council, HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that they intend to make a Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order, the effect of which will be to close Churchill Road, South Croydon, to vehicular traffic at the time and date specified in the Schedule to this notice, to facilitate a playstreet.

2. During the date and time specified in the Schedule to this notice no person shall cause any vehicle enter or proceed in Churchill Road, between the north-eastern boundary of No. 15 Churchill Road and the common boundary of No. 128 Churchill Road and No. 404 Brighton Road.

3. The provisions of the Order will not prevent access being maintained for residents, or pedestrians accessing any premises situated on

or adjacent to any road to which this Order relates, or to any other premises accessible from, and only from, such a road.
4. Nothing in the Order shall apply:

a) to anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform;

b) to any vehicle being used for police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes, or the purposes of a statutory undertaker in an emergency, such as the loss of supplies of gas, electricity or water to premises in the area, which necessitates the bringing of vehicles into a section of road to which the order applies.

5. The Order will come into effect on 22 September 2019.
