NOTICE OF Public consultation (Regulation 14) for Durham City Neighbourhood Plan; City of Durham Parish Council Working Group as the ‘qualifying body’ has prepared a Draft Neighbourhood Plan with the help of the local community. The Plan sets out objectives for development in the City centre and planning policies, which will be used to determine planning applications locally. The Draft Plan is now subject to a six week public consultation from Friday 17th May - Friday 28th June, 2019 (in accordance with Regulation 14 of the Neighbourhood Planning (General) Regulations 2012 (as amended). WHERE THE PLAN CAN BE INSPECTED Further information together with a copy of the Draft Plan and associated documentation can be viewed at: http://npf.durhamcity.org.uk/the-plan/ The Plan can also be viewed during normal opening hours at: County Hall, Durham Town Hall and Clayport Library. Drop-in consultation events will be held at: St. John’s Church, Neville’s Cross on Wednesday May 22nd from 2 - 6pm St. Giles’ Church Hall, Gilesgate, Monday June 3rd 3-7pm St. Nicholas’ Church, Durham Market Place Wednesday June 12th 3- 7.30pm.
