Merton Council and Wimbledon Park

I completely agree with Patricia Sheerin's account of Wimbledon Park's administration by Merton Council. We, as residents close to the park, have complained on numerous occasions to the council regarding cycling and commercial acitivities in the park, but it has always fallen on deaf ears. In the summer months we have commercial events with extremely loud music which can be very disturbing if you live close by. No other park I know of allows barbeques in the summer months because of the mess they genrate, as well as attracting alchohol drinking which can sometimes get out of hand - not family friendly! Please give us back our park.
