Guides from Hook, Merton, Surbiton, Chessington, Teddington, Cheam. Worcester Park, Hampton, Ham and Petersham in Greater London West met together to spend a ‘Wild Weekend’ at their County campsite Heyswood recently where they enjoyed a rare sunny weekend and took part in a number of organized activities including a ‘Glow in the Dark’ wide game, a ‘Wet and Wacky’ game on the aquaslide, Zumba dancing, team challenges, a camp fire and probably their favourite, ‘Fun with Chocolate’ where they made chocolate pigs!

Many quotes were received from the girls – ‘I loved Wet and wacky’, ‘The weather was fabulous’, I loved ‘Fun with Chocolate’, ‘Zumba was great’ and ‘An amazing experience that I will always remember’.

‘The girls had a great time and some also made use of our new ‘Altar’ fires for their cooking – I hope they will all want to come camping again soon’ said Christine Donovan, County Outdoor Activities Adviser.
