Christiana Valcarcel, Mayor of Lambeth, attended Streatham Youth and Community Trust’s annual Good Neighbours Party on Saturday, 21 January 2012. The Party is a free event hosted to thank neighbours and supporters of SYCT. Westenders, a showtune tribute act provided a wonderful set of west end hits. Tap dancers the Shirley Tappers put on a lively performance showing off their excellent routines. Because of transport difficulties of long term supporters a team of volunteer drivers provided a pick up and drop off service. Guests enjoyed Toad in the Hole prepared by Sandy Wood and volunteer helpers. SYCT would like to thank The Rotary Club of Streatham for their kind sponsorship of the event.
