Lyne Village Fete Saturday 16 June 2012 at 1pm Now in its 104th year, the Lyne Village Fete is a traditional day out for all the family with children’s maypole dancing, roundabouts, tug of war, dog show and scurry, go carts, 5 a side football and you can view the great collection of classic cars.
This year there are over 30 new stalls selling everything from Neal’s Yard toiletries, glass and pottery, silver jewellery, Phoenix cards and stationery, plants, home made jams to clothes for your dog.
There will be cookery demonstrations, watch the wonderful wood turning, learn about traditional wool spinning, ride on the Great Cockcrow railway and listen to the Epsom and Ewell Silver Band. Refreshments are available in the Pimms and beer tents. There will be barbecues, ice cream and afternoon tea & cakes will be served in the village hall.
It will be lots of fun for all the family and entry is only £1, children under 16 go free. Find the Fete at Lyne Recreation Ground, Lyne Lane, Lyne KT16 0AN.
All profits from the Fete go towards the refurbishment of the Lyne Village Hall and the Lyne and Longcross Church.
