Local businesses attended were invited to the Chartered Institute of Management event at Hampton Football Club in Teddington last week to hear from Saionton Basu of Penningtons to learn about how to consider doing business with India. The presentation covered the macro-level regulatory environment for doing business in India, including discussions on foreign investment regulations, dispute resolution and arbitration mechanisms.

Local CIMA Area Chairman, Tony Dyer said: 'Chartered Management Accountants operate in all areas of organisations with a commercial and forward looking focus. Management accountants operate in financial and non-financial roles throughout organisations and use all their training and experience within the business itself, providing them with a unique insight into how their organisations operate.'
