London’s Cancer Survivorship Programme opens up 2012 Events.

The Cancer Survivorship Programme, after a bumper first year, has released details of their 2012 programme of events. The Cancer Survivorship Programme, which was founded last year and serves London and the South East, aims to educate cancer patients into the different avenues of complementary cancer support such as mind-body medicine techniques, psychological support, nutrition, exercise and meditation.

Sam Watts, Founder and Director of The Cancer Survivorship Programme, is passionate about supporting cancer patients. He says “There is a huge amount of research and evidence showing that cancer patients who actively adopt complementary techniques during their treatment see undeniable results. The Cancer Survivorship Programme offers patients the means to introduce the most effective of these treatments alongside their conventional cancer care”.

Sam continues, “After a great first year of events, we are pleased to say that 2012 looks to be better yet with more services and courses on offer. Along with our key 8-week Survivorship Programme, this year we will also be running specific Mindfulness Based Cancer Recovery courses along with a series of evening lecture programmes on subjects such as nutrition and diet for cancer recover and exercise prescription for cancer patients”.
