Not a lentil in sight!

Twickenham and North Surrey Vegetarians and Vegans laid on a mouth-watering feast for visitors to the free Vegan Food Fayre at All Saints, Hampton. Visitors helped themselves to a cornucopia of international vegan cuisine prepared by volunteers, as well as delicacies supplied by Karahi Spices in Twickenham, Riverside Vegetaria in Kingston, and Sainsbury’s Tangley Park Road, with not a lentil in sight. One visitor commented, “I think its wonderful this was put on today...it has given many people lots to think about! Thank you.” and several expressed their intention to reduce their meat consumption, as the food was so good. “We have achieved our aim of challenging the public’s perception that vegan food is limited and boring,” said the organiser, Mavis White.
