Kingston runners triumph at the Downs League

K&P's victorious U11 team
Kingston Athletic Club & Polytechnic Harriers’ young runners finished the Downs Cross Country League in style. The club U11 team not only won the final race but also the overall League title after finishing first in all four races. Sasha Reed picked up the individual silver medal, as did K&P’s Sam Shaw who helped his Hinchley Wood Primary School team to second place. U13 Harry Reynolds was the undisputed champion after winning also his fourth consecutive race. Kingston’s Phil Bearman likewise won the gold in the U15 age group with a dominant display, with Neil Wellard finishing in bronze position. Club mates Ella Shaw and Bridget Langford tied for the bronze medal in the girls’ competition.
