Kingston customers donate enough food to provide 2,000 to FareShare

Sainsbury’s customers donated 1 million meals to the Million Meal Appeal, and Sainsbury’s have matched the donation so FareShare can provide 2 million meals to help feed those in need. Appeal remains UK’s biggest ever single-charity food drive. 600 volunteers participated in the Million Meal Appeal, encouraging customers to donate in stores around the country. 720 local charities and community projects throughout the country to benefit including YMCA Subiton. Sainsbury’s has matched every meal donated by customers - this means in total Kingston have helped to provide 2,000 meals for FareShare Based on information supplied by robyn.
