William Price, 12 years old, 1000km charity cycle ride

Good afternoon, I thought you might be interested in a sponsored cycle ride which my son will be undertaking in early July this year. He will be cycling with a very dear family friend, Robert, from here to the centre of France (1000km/600miles). Our friend is 65 years old and William is 12!

They will be raising money for a wonderful charity called the Serge Betsen Academy which was founded by a very well know French rugby player, Serge Betsen who plays for the London Wasps. William has played rugby for the Wasps since he was 5 years old and Serge is a true hero to him.

He is always ready to give his time to the young players and he is hugely popular with the boys.

William and Robert will cycle unaccompanied and will carry all of their own clothes and camping equipment.

William has been sponsored by the company 2 x 2 Worldwide who make Land Rover bikes; have very kindly given William a fabulous bicycle to ride to France! The website is in French and English as we are working to raise money on both sides of the channel.
