10th March 2012 Walton-on-the-Hill May Queen Choosing Day

8:18am Wednesday 29th February 2012 in Epsom

Once again preparations have started for our Annual May Pageant.

Our Procession Theme this year is My Favourite Game and children from Walton Primary School have been invited to submit paintings on this theme for selection to go on our Programme Front Cover.

All children from our local community are invited to enter for the draw to be Attendants, Chimney Sweep, Jack of the Green, Spirit of May and May Queen 2012. Entry Forms are available from Lynn’s News, High Street, Walton-on-the-Hill, from week commencing 27th February. The draw takes place on Our May Queen Choosing Day which is at 1pm on 10th March at Breech Lane Community Centre and all the local community are invited to attend.

Our Programme is in Full Colour and distributed to some 4000 homes and businesses in and around the KT20 area. If you are interested in advertising please visit our website for more details. Our copy deadline is Friday 16th March.

We have 50 Charity and Craft pitches available and contact details for anyone who wishes to book a stall are also on the website.

We donate 100% of our profits to Charity and our main beneficiaries this year are Help For Heroes, The Grange in Bookham and Heathlands House in Walton-on-the Hill.
