15 years of looking after Surrey’s eyes

A MANAGER at a local opticians’ in Epsom is celebrating a very important anniversary this Saturday 11 February.

Jenny Burton from Specsavers in the High Street, has been a fixture at the opticians for 15 years and to mark this milestone, the store has decided to have a party.

Jenny says: ‘I honestly can’t believe where the time has gone. I can remember my first day here like it was yesterday. I’m on first name terms with lots of our customers and it’s lovely to see them return year after year.’ Glen MacGregor, store director, says: ‘This anniversary is a testament to Jenny’s commitment, not only to us, but to the customers that she has looked after for all this time. We’re looking forward to her next 15 years with us.’ The store will also celebrate another milestone as Jenny’s anniversary sees the team exceed 100 years of collective knowledge working in the store.

The store will be serving refreshments and homemade treats to customers throughout the day so that they may join in the festivities too.
