A free workshop will be held to help firms make the most of the London 2012 Olympic Games.
Surrey County Council is offering businesses the chance to learn how to bid for Olympic contracts and advice on how best to operate during the Games this summer.
The event is taking place art The Ship Hotel Weybridge on Wednesday February 8 from 9.30am to 1.30pm Denise Saliagopoulos, Surrey County Council’s Cabinet Member for Community Services and the 2012 Games, said: “Surrey businesses have already won more than £740 million worth of 2012-related contracts and there are still more up for grabs.
“Security companies, caterers, construction firms and management consultants are among local firms to have won contracts and I encourage other local businesses to register now and make the most of this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.”
