Make Your Own Skincare Products Workshop Sat 21 April Claygate
9:56am Monday 2nd April 2012 in Elmbridge
Botanica Medica, www.botanicamedica.co.uk the herbal apothecary in Claygate, Surrey, is holding a “Create Your Own Skincare Products” workshop on Saturday 21 April at 2.30pm, led by Elaine Cole, Medical Herbalist.
She says “Branded skincare products are heavily marketed with amazing beauty claims but if you look under the list of ingredients, many are chemicals. The beauty benefits of plants are well documented and the raw materials can be sourced from small, independent manufacturers, costing a fraction of the price of a branded super-cream. But the real benefit is that by becoming familiar with natural skincare ingredients you can create a unique product that suits your skin type.”
The workshop will show you how to create products using herbal oils and natural fragrances that are tailor-made to suit your skin. Participants will create and take home their own natural skincare gift set – body lotion, hand cream, lip balm, gift packaging.
