Tutor Colin Parrish is continuing his popular series of royal history courses at the Esher Green Adult Education Centre.
In September he will begin a new six week course “British Royal Weddings 1889-1947”. Inspired by the pomp and ceremony of the April royal wedding the course will look at the weddings of various members of the royal family including three future monarchs. Learners will discover how the format of the weddings has changed over the years and in response to changes in the public expectations of the monarchy. The course will run for six weeks and the start date and time is Wednesday 14th September at 7.15 p.m.
Booking details can be found in the centre brochure. The telephone number for the Esher Green Centre is 01372 832583. You can also book via the Surrey ACL website www.surreycc.gov.uk/adultlearning.
The course is being run by Surrey County Council, Adult and Community Learning.
