London 2012 Paralympic medal winners including Wandsworth Table Tennis champion Aaron McKibbin were last week welcomed to Buckingham Palace’s gardens for an exclusive garden party. The prestigious invitation celebrates the athlete’s sterling performances at last year’s Paralympic Games. Aaron McKibbin shared the news of his invitation with sponsors James Pendleton Estate Agents and spoke of his pride and excitement at being able to visit the royal gardens, which only ever seen by selected guests. The event was made even better by splendid weather (as the photos prove) and Aaron reports a very pleasant day during which “the Queen came down and spoke to some of us and I relaxed with food and drink with the rest of my team”.
