I am organising a reunion for former airmen stationed at RAF Truleigh Hill, a radar station that operated at Shoreham in Sussex from 1940 to 1957. I am particularly keen to find Derek Bessant, who was at the camp around 1952-54 and was originally from the Surbiton area. I am told that he played the organ at a local church. There will be former friends of his at the reunion.
