I am trying to find my best friend from my nurse training days. I hope that someone will know where she is and pass this on. Her maiden name was Kathy Murphy.
We started our training in June 1978 at the whittington Hospital in North London. My name then was Dawn Woodburne. Kathy's parents lived in Wimbledon. Her dad was a retired policeman. She had a brother called Terry who was in the army and she had 2 or three sisters. I think that one was called Anne and one was called Theresa.
I cant remember for sure if there was a third sister but I know that one of them was married to someone called Boris. Kathy finished her training but did not stay as a nurse. she went to be a prison warden at Holloway. She got married around 1995 to Dave.I dont know his surname. He was also a prison warden. We lost touch when we moved. I would dearly love to get in touch with her again.
