Sleeping is an essential part of a healthy lifestyle. A lot of teenagers either sleep too much or don't get enough sleep. It's important to have a good sleeping patern. Late nights always seem like they are fun at the time but it makes waking up the next morning one of the hardest tasks. Every individual is different, some can cope without their full eight hours of sleep and some cannot. Being well rested helps teenagers concentrate at school on their work. It also stops the continuous wave of yawns some may experience whilst sitting through a history lesson. 

Sleeping can be a problem for some people, not everyone is able to sleep properly throughout the night. Falling asleep can prove to be a tough task for some. I interviewed an individual who sleeps more than the daily required hours. 

Are you a student or do you have a job? 

I am a student. 

Do you have trouble sleeping or do you get enough sleep?

Sometimes I get enough sleep.

Do you feel sleep deprived throughout the day?

Yes, after a long day of school I feel like I have to have a nap. 

Do you feel like you concentrate less on your school work when you are sleep deprived?

Yes I do lose the ability to concentrate sometimes. 

What do you do when you need to concentrate but you cannot due to the lack of sleep?

I keep hydrated this makes me focus and engage with my tasks. 

To compare the effect of sleep I interviewed an opposing individual who gets their eight hours of sleep per night. 

Are you a student or are you working?

I am a full time student.

Do you have trouble sleeping or do you get enough sleep?

I've set my sleeping pattern to ensure that I get my full required hours of sleep. I make sure that I sleep early on school nights, so I feel refreshed the next day.

Do you ever feel sleep deprived throughout the day?

No.

Do you feel like you concentrate more in school when you are well rested ?

Yes I do because I feel lik entergetic throughout the day.

Although sleep is an important factor for a healthy lifestyle, gaining the recommending amount of sleep per day may still prove to be custom to an individual. This maybe due to other factors affecting each individual's life.
